  1. Wanted to resub, but in the end the game is just not fun to me anymore. I already havent logged on since the release of D3.
  2. I would have never bought SW:ToR in the first place.
  3. Yeah what you said was part of our problem. Being in a progression guild is definitely an acquired taste, but when we have such a shallow pool to draw from we literally got nothing. We were open to giving anybody who could make our raid times a trial, we just had no takers. I agree completely with the server pops & ranked warzones though.
  4. Not irreplaceable because of how great I am. Irreplaceable because it took us 3 months to recruit a SINGLE DPS. The #1 PvE guild on my server, and we couldn't find a single person to even trial with us. So to replace a healer in full BiS gear who makes 99% of the operations and already knows the fights on a server where when my guild got 4/4 Denova, there wasnt a single other kill period registered to another guild, yeah I'd say that's pretty irreplaceable. I lost 10+ people off my friends list after 1.2 because of ranked warzones. They went from excited for ranked warzones to "ok let's wait for GW2". Would they have quit eventually anyways? Possibly. But I cannot think of a single bigger subscription loss in an MMO than the removal of ranked warzones 24 hours prior to their launch.
  5. First off, I'm a huge Star Wars fan. The movies, the games, the books, all of it. Love it. I'm also a huge MMO fan. WoW since day 1. SWG for years. EQ1 & DAoC prior to that. So when one of my favorite companies teamed up with my favorite franchise, I was absolutely pumped. Somewhere along the way though, things started going wrong. I never put unrealistic expectations on this game. I knew this was their first try into the MMO genre. I knew they'd have growing pains and this game would not be a well oiled machine right out of the gate. But that was ok, as long as they were trying. As long as there was progress moving forward I would be completely fine with it. That was 6 months ago. But I am now at the point to where I can barely stomach logging on. I went from wanting to do nothing but spend my free time playing SW:ToR to wanting to anything BUT play SW:ToR in my free time. PvE is a joke. It's hard to say if the boss fights are even fun or not because you're wading through bugs for so much of it. Even though my guild has cleared everything, I am extremely disappointed in the overall bugginess and thoughtlessness of PvE. Soa is 6 months old now and is still to this day chock full of bugs. I actually went through every boss in the game, and could think of a time off the top of my head that my guild had wiped to a bug. Every single boss, not a one was spared. Kephess has been broken for over a week, with no fix in site. It absolute amazes me that a game that started with PvE as its focus can be such a trainwreck. Honestly the only thing that keeps me logging on for ops is the fact that there's other people playing in my guild who are counting on me give my all, and finding a replacement for me is nigh impossible due to population issues alone. PvP is even worse off. First was the rated battlegrounds fiasco. Not delivering on that with 1.2 was without a doubt one of the biggest botched calls I've ever seen in video games as a business. Now I'm all for them taking their time to do it right instead of rushing out an unfinished product, but promising it with 1.2 and then pulling it 24 hours before the patch went live was about as bad as it gets. BW literally threw any rep they had with their playerbase in the garbage with that ordeal. And then the balancing. Nerfing and buffing are part of the game, I get that. But what bothers me the most about BW is the fact they are so bad at it. They literally cannot balance a single class without wrecking 3 others. I have zero faith that they will ever come remotely close to a balanced experience. There will always be a Marauder/Sentinel type overbuffed class. When you buff/nerf a class, you need to do so while also keeping as much of the core playstyle of the class intact. Changing numbers is your friend. Changing mechanics is not your friend, and BW seems to not realize that. BW literally scraps entire classes and builds them from the ground up on the fly. Playing my Sage pre and post 1.2 was like playing a completely different class, and to me that's a giant red flag. Also, the legacy system is terrible. At its core it's supposed to promote trying other classes, other factions, etc etc etc. But it does not accomplish that. Seeing a new class story is fun, seeing the same fetch quest for the 4th time is not. It also pigeonholes players into the server they're on. People are now stuck on dead servers because the thought of starting completely over is out of the question. As I write this, every single server but 1 (Swiftsure) is low pop. My server has...5 people on Imperial Fleet. Europe has all but 6 servers low pop. Asia Pacific's three servers are all heavy. There's just WAY too many servers, but BW will never put their tail between their leg and admit they have too many. They'll just roll out cross server queues and pronounce all our problems as fixed. So I've really went from absolutely pumped about this game, to the point I'm ready to throw my hands up and say "**** it". If people have some gems of knowledge that they'd be willing to share with me to change my mind on this subject, I'd really be thrilled to hear them.
  6. It's overturned. It's called "story mode" for a supposed reason. It's not about people wanting gear handed to to them, it's not about people wanting to walk into an instance and bosses fall over. It's about the lowest level of 1.2 raiding steamrolling casual guilds, and being nearly impossible for pugs. It's simply overtuned and way too unforgiving for the playerbase it was designed for.
  7. Alot of servers are really low pop. So you're going to be looking at a very delicate situation to handle. 1-49 flashpoints even with a dungeon finder will not survive if they're same realm only. There's just not enough people doing them. And with that being said if they're cross-realm flashpoints there had better be an outstanding system in place to promote fair play. If any previous MMO has proven anything, it's that alot of people will intentionally be as big of a dbag as the system will allow them to be when dealing with people they'll never encounter again. 50 flashpoints could survive realm only, as most servers have enough 50's for a healthy pool of players for it. But there's also alot of questions with that too. Are people going to be impatient and kick someone who wants to watch the cutscenes? Are people going to get irritated when the average flashpoint at 50 takes over an hour (which oddly enough is how long it took my guild to finish an 8 man ops at the end of 1.1). Operation finder would be a disaster, literally.
  8. I was just rambling the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture.
  9. The boots in that picture look like they were made on minecraft.
  10. Easier to just pull any random mob and type /stuck, which will kill you instantly if you're in combat.
  11. Well you fail to realize that how well you play is not all that factors into a win/loss. I'm all for the losing team getting 70% currency (or whatever the % was) of the winning team in a warzone. If there's very little incentive to even try in a losing situation it makes for some very boring matches. Played probably 10 matches today in a premade. In 9/10 we never saw more than 3 or 4 of the opposite side after the 60 second mark of the match due to people bailing on what was going to be a loss for them. Think of it like basketball. Say the Lakers beat the Bobcats 105-70. Should the 70 points the Bobcats score not even count since they lost? Should all the players on the Bobcats have a statline of zero across the board? Personally I enjoyed the system much, much more prior to 1.2 because it promoted playing hard and not quitting over testing the waters for a minute then bailing if it's going to be a loss.
  12. So far I've went: Corso X2 Vector Elara Dorne X2 Quinn Mako I'd upload a SS of Elara but I don't have a Trooper.
  13. It doesn't work like that. You don't get any DNA samples for infecting others. Even the daily for infecting others just provides vaccines for a reward.
  14. lol you have a pokemon folder open on your desktop.
