  1. 05:53 Pacific Time and still cannot log on to my server. I get stuck at that darn Galactic Starfighter opening screen and can't see my server list or list of 'toons. screen. When will this issue be fixed?
  2. Don't leave... Those of us who are enjoying the game despite its flaws are the silent majority. And face it, ALL games have flaws. I am having such a good time exploring the game and the character story lines and I just want this to continue with future updates. Join the silent majority who play and love it, and understand that this game is evolving and needs long-term players in order to survive and thrive (nice rhyming...).
  3. As an adult who has a full and busy life and limited time to play this game, I truly appreciate the OP's info. IMHO we need MORE posts like this to assist the enthusiastic, but casual player. Unlike the kids, I can afford to pay for subscriptions to multiple MMOs, and desire only to spend my money wisely. Helpful threads like this one only serve to enhance my enjoyment of what is thus far a fantastic game. To the trolls: I hear WoW will release "Mists" this summer. Please take your whining, sniveling, selves back to that game, since you hijacked it anyhow. As a reminder...WoW experienced similar growing pains before becoming what it is today. An important character trait for you kids to learn is PATIENCE. Read about it! Now go do your homework or study for an exam or something... To Bioware: Please continue to update and grow this game. Your original framework is magnificent and I look forward to playing this game for many years to come. Don't let this game become another WoW, except hopefully in numbers of subscriptions. Could we have age-restricted servers?
  4. I'm a non-elitist player who truly enjoys this game. As such, I am happy to see that there will be multiple pathways to acquire high level end-game items. It has always frustrated me that in WoW, the best items were only obtainable through heroic instances. Rewarding the diligent crafter whose lov and enjoyment of the game is equal to that of the instance snobs seems, to me to be very fair. It seems the only people not responding positively are those who obviously think that these items should only rewarded to those that "beat" the game. This thinking should be reserved for the Xbox and Playstation. Since these MMORPGs are constantly updated, a player can't truly ever "beat" the game. New content and challenges will always arise, providing items that surpass the previous "maxed-out" items. Rather than turn SWTOR into another WoW, BioWare has taken a different path. I applaud them for their courage and their wisdom.
