  1. Compared to last year I would say que times have probably doubled but still decent on Harb. Last night was 5-10 minutes. It goes to 10-15 mins during late hours after 4 am est. There is no way I would bother logging into pot5 or Sl at 4 am I would get a half populated arena.
  2. I transferred to Harb because of the long que times on SL, I tend to play late night. Harb pop times are about 10 mins, but you get alot of arenas and that crappy proving ground one that everyone leaves.
  3. They haven't invested into maintaining pvp and it shows. All I see in WZ's these days are tons of sorcs and juggs and most of the time its just a TDM with noone playing objectives. Sorc healing even if played by a below average player can easily pump out over 2 million in heals. Broken game is broken.
  4. In a Void star on defense they are actually sitting right at the exit point for attackers, not one guy like 5 of them and just globalling people. I'm stealth so I can get out, but for say a sniper there is no escape you have to move at some point or get booted from the match. Remember this is a match where players are rotating in and out of the match because they keep leaving and new ones entering. If you have no cc protection they will yank you down and global you. Its the equivalent of a 60 in full pvp gear ganking a level 25, there's no chance to fight back. This rarely happened on pot5, very rare, on Harb it happens in every other match for pubs. Its legal and hey do it if you want, but don't complain when you can't get any competitive matches because no one wants to play against you.
  5. I moved my pub toon to harbinger to check it out before i commit. I must say the pops are faster, the fleet is full and you get more variety of players. Some of my guild already made the move independent of myself so I wasn't alone. I'm prob gonna recommend to my friends that they all go to harb, its the new fatman, a refuge for dying servers until they merge. The server lag issue, I was running 22ms on pot5 and I'm running 75ms on harb. Its only noticeable when playing really good players who will sometimes stun me before I them, not a big deal really.
  6. Your right I don't know exactly just saw a couple of names. Listen spawn camping is tacky, I have never done it and never will. I don't heal people who stray too far from the objective unless its a choke point in a close match. You guys have 5 people in FOTM classes sitting there globalling players. Meanwhile what you don't see is half the team has already quit. So your punishing the players who stick it out but got stuck with a weak group. You guys get less overall stats, less playtime, your healer has nothing to do and you are creating a toxic atmosphere. I personally don't care its quick comms and I'm gearing this toon. But less people will que if you keep doing it and pop times for pubs start to get longer. All I'm saying is be considerate. Some of these players don't match up well, thats fine, but give them room to breathe at least. People are actually now checking to see if your guild is queing so they can leave the match before it even starts. That's not a good thing, because if the match starts with 5-6 players I'm going to leave as well.
  7. I just transferred my undergeared pub to Harb and played for last 2 days. Hustle are all the guys from pot5 who aren't good enough to do solo or team rated but do well in premades against pugs, not that its hard. Playing pub the annoying thing is they are really desperate for numbers so they spawn camp and chase dps and have no class basically, I did notice after a certain hour the pub stars come out and completely wrecked them. I went like 2-10 then some guy spiffy and his team came on them we were dominating them, had like 8 wins in a row against the same people. I think the pubs just need to learn when the teams are mismatched and avoid being farmed. I would say the new imps on harb are mostly try hard rated failures who want to stroke their ego by stacking the odds. just my 2 cents.
  8. Yea too many east coast servers. They don't invest anything in pvp and this is the consequence. POT5 has constant reg pops but you see the same people over and over which wasn't the case before and pub side is on life support. You would think merging jung ma and pot5 would be a no brainer. Signed.
  9. More likely? LMAO, your a smart guy and an excellent player but i think even your starting to believe your own BS with this comment. Cross-faction and forming one 8 man group before splitting them into 2 equally rated teams would easily solve the problem. Nothing complicated here. That would allow the best players to get the best rating and increase participation by 5 fold helping everyone.
  10. Its pretty bad on pot5. Its less about any skill and more about que synching. number one rated jugg/guardian in the world is from pot5 but only has about 53 actual wins 6 of those coming at my expense. The second rated operative in the world also a pub from pot5. These are good players, can't say how good since the matches were so lopsided. Is this fair to players on other servers who have 200+ wins and will lose out on an all-galaxy title? not sure if this is the same on every server.
  11. I was enjoying the earth's bountiful natural resources of both solids and liquids and this thought came into head. What would be the best setup and would the fights be like? Two Sins? A tank and a healer? 2 sorcs who can self heal and dps? I'm really not sure what is your opinion? Would it viable? Would it prove who is great and who is merely decent?
  12. This is a dying game. Best thing to do is unsub, how many chances do they get to display even a slight bit of competence. People don't like being killed by a stealther who can't be cced or knocked back and hits 10k crits on an aoe and takes a third of my health away on an uncleansable dot. Its absurd. The more groups run sins the more people will stop pvping.
  13. The only op healers that deserve consideration as the best are the ones who do rated 4's. The players (dps and especially tank) in those matches would be able to tell you who they are. They notice the small details, like CC's and positioning and fast saves that numbers don't reveal. Solo rating for healers really means nothing because it is the most exploited aspect of yolo que. You are literally competing against one person. You may face that person 15 times in a row. If that person has a lower rating he will almost certainly get lower rated dps on his team. Which means healers can rack up 10-15 wins in a row against relatively weak competition. The guy who is good with most patience will get the highest rating. This is the reason many healers won't do yolo. It's like this on a PVP server, so its even worse on a pve server. Literally get your friends to que against you and make sure they have a lower rating and profit, easy wins. This has been broken since season 1. With a tank, I'd much rather have a sorc because their output is clearly higher and they do more dps.
  14. I don't blame you. Definitely not worth 15 dollars a month for them to maintain PvP, on top of it they are regressing with regard to class balance. I've un-subbed as well. This is an easy fix but its over their heads.
  15. I mean really, is there anything they can't do? They are absolutely dominating regs. It's too much. I'm not one to call for massive across the board nerfs, but in this case it may be needed to bring them back into balance. Everyone is complaining about them. If you want to make your customer base happy revert sins back to being just good and not godlike. Enough already.
