Is this a cartel market item or is it a ability one of the classes has because I bought a lightsaber and the end near the hilt is like lighting but when I see other people the whole blade has lighting

I know they have that but like any item thats bound. I find it really annoying that I have to go and waste credits on something i have like 4 of on a diff toon

Does anybody else think that you should be able to send any item you have to another character as long as it is within you legacy tree? For instance you start a new character and you want to send something that is "bound". I think you should be able to give it to your alt acc as long as it is within the legacy I just want opinions im not saying they should do this
