  1. I'm going with Imperial Agent/Operative as most fun class. I have 8 characters, half on Empire and half on Republic each in teens to and 20s, so no sense yet on endgame. However, so far I'd say the Imperial Agent has one of the most fun stories (tho I think the Inquisitor is best so far and best opening is the Smuggler). More imporantly, the playstyle is the most varied and hence most fun to play, don't get bored. Its kind of visceral and savage and I can attack via stealth with my vicious knife (like I'm supposed to) or if I like can play more like a sniper or mix it up. Also, when I'm feeling lazy I might just heal Kaliyo and let her do the work. She is also the craziest companion I've encountered yet--another plus!
  2. Dang, no one else knows either? Just a one word answer would suffice!
  3. I seem to have a lot of choices in armor between these two and have no idea which is better for Ops. Could somebody fill me in? Thanks!
  4. Does the OP realize the amount of computer resources required to accurately render true beach sand? I think Bioware knows what they're doing.
  5. Is this true? I can't find it on Dromund Kaas or is there more than one cantina?
  6. Ok so by third planet I can get a new companion customization? I'm assuming that that is my next one after the starter world and the capital world? So roughly I'm guessing something like level 20?
  7. Yah but I don't like that one either. So any idea when I can purchase another one?
  8. So I'm mad that I accidentally chose the wrong appearance customization for my first companion ( which I've read most bounthunters use all the way to level 50). But I've heard that you can buy new ones from vendors. Can anyone tell me roughly what level I can do so. I'm already tired of my bland looking companion when I could be rolling with a hottie. Thanks anyone in advance!
  9. I agree with the OP. The game becomes watered down if choices are easy and without consequences. To show the flaw in reasoning for those preferring dual spec, the same arguments can be made for simply allowing change in class at any time in the game at no cost.
  10. Thanks for the excellent replies. I think it still makes more sense (for me) to go with a gathering and corresponding crafting skill and also slicing. I'll be able to keep progressing the gathering and crafting I believe without needing the mission skill. Then when I hit 50, I'll scrap the slicing (or arguably another gathering, although I also don't like to spend all my time picking stuff up and having my bags fill up while questing, which is why I figure slicing still makes sense) and pick up the corresponding mission skill. I admit I don't really get the whole reverse engineering bit, but figure that I can ignore it until I hit 50 as I don't really care to run around with epic level 15 stuff or whatever. Does this make sense?
  11. As far as I can understand mission skills are the most expensive to run and only provide epic quality schematics, blueprints or similar. Why would anyone need these high quality items when you are just going to outlevel them anyway? Doesn't it make more sense to just take either 3 gathering or 2 gathering (one being slicing even post nerf) and one crafting. Then when hit 50, abandon slicing and get the mission skill which corresponds to the remaining gathering and crafting skills? Am I wrong?
  12. Why is it while questing I have to bother looting vender trash and carrying it around? It's beneath me.
