  1. I like being in first person when not in combat - its a great way to explore hub areas, especially if you're not in a rush and just walk.
  2. Ahh, that explains the mob of people I saw deathmatching in the corner of the map. Rewards for objective points is a much better idea.
  3. I was quite pleased to get a negative response from both, because F*** those guys.
  4. Ok I have no desire whatsoever to debate the film(s), I just wanted to make a point.
  5. I think if you pick at the fabric of Star Wars you're going to find disappointment. Effective military strategy and realism have always taken a back-seat to spectacle, and force powers have always been plot devices. Obviously, everyone is free to have their opinions about the new films, but if you're going to criticize them on the basis of realism, you should probably take a critical look at the Original Trilogy as well...
  6. You're projecting your RL politics onto Star Wars to draw some pretty shaky conclusions. However, I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread, so I'm not going to waste time refuting your arguments...
  7. Look, you're welcome to your opinions about the films, but you don't get to decide who and who isn't a fan. I've reported you for the insult(s), but of course the real reason is the mainstream trying to censor you, right?
  8. That's not the question. The question is "Are the Empire the good guys?" To argue that the Empire is in any way the 'good guys' is to condone its practices. This is Star Wars, not 20th century geo-politics - It's really not that complicated.
  9. Uhuh. Sooo… slavery isn't inherently evil, then?
  10. Well then, I'm gonna derail the back-and-forth, pick-a-side stuff by saying I like kotor 1, kotor 2, and the new Disney films. Star Wars is big enough for all of us; if you don't like some of it, that's ok - lets all just be respectful of other fans, hmm?
  11. UE4 is great, I use it all the time. I doubt EA would ever license a competitor's engine, however. In terms of graphics, frostbite is just as good, if not better, but there are plenty of horror stories from developers who struggled to make it do what they want. Basic things like inventory management, companion AI, and save/load functionality had to be added in for DA: Inquisition. Unreal is so successful because of its business model, which puts it in the hands of anyone who wants it. There's a massive amount of collective knowledge about it, and really solid official documentation. Frostbite lacks all of that.
  12. Perhaps having a slave class is a way to keep everyone else motivated?
