  1. Eventually, with a certain amount of dedication to learning the spec, it will become easy to time your abilities in order to respect the energy system. Learn your talent tree, contribute to your team (drop the 1v1 mentality, most of the time it does not win anything, especially in arenas, so you can push the class to its limits), and keep on practicing (less pressure on you, more pressure on them), concealment isn't the simplest tree to master for various reasons. but mainly because stealth is probably the worst pvp mechanic in SWTOR (hello bioware?!?) and concealment operatives are far from being natural, out of stealth, fighters.
  2. If adrenaline probe isn't ready, instead of timing your abilties with the gcd, add like half a second before pressing something, and only use explosive probe when absolutely necessary because its high energy cost can break the rotation you are currently suggesting. If you still want to drop the probe, in order to keep the energy regeneration flowing, most of the time you'll have to spend 1 gcd (rifle shot) before activating it. (if you're planning a burst sequence while already in the middle of a fight, you might want to wait a few more gcds)
  3. what is it with all the ap PTs lately
  4. nonetheless, i could see the bulk of our dps become a bit spikier in order to possess superior synergy with the various utility tools that were given to us
  5. I totally agree. Personally, I simply rerolled my vanguard to imp side and I'm looking forward to play that **** in 2.4.
  6. like right now the spec is so bad and poorly designed that an experienced operative with a head over his shoulders can commit to everything that defines more desirable classes/specs and have some success at it, but we don't have a true identity and this is really hurting
  7. yea sorry I didnt read the whole thing again, did that a few days ago
  8. btw some points might not be as clear as I'd like them to be but hey, it's a lot easier for me to express my thoughts in french Rofl
  9. I also brought the idea of having cloak screen's cd be reduced everytime we use a certain ability, or get hit by any source of damage (the same way smash cd can be reduced), which could significantly increase our potential burst, utility and survability, while giving us that essential ''stealther identity'' if you see what I mean here. Said differently, I think bioware should really promote the stealth mechanic when it comes to concealment, in order to separate us from the other classes and give people a clear reason to bring us to a competitive group in a rated environment. That kind of change doesn't relate to the simple ''dumbing down process'' of various classes and specs that we've been witnessing lately. I would be extremely saddened if our dps tree is buffed to extremely high stupidity level like deception was, but from what I've read when the devs answered our questions, I think they're going in the right direction.
  10. Haha, my operative won't see much 4v4 action so I'm kind of out of the whole ''how can we fix concealment'' thing, although I think you have solid ideas. The only way to make concealment viable IMO is to give us some kind of epic group utility (smoke bomb for example), because the only other way around would be to bring the burst damage back, but we know that won't happen. Any other survability or pve dps changes would just make us better out of stealth fighters which doesn't really make sense to me since this is not a marauder I'm trying to play LOL.
  11. a lot of people are just sick of the ******** balance which is a result from the dumbing down of the game that was 2.0 and personally, i would love queing again but pub side is a graveyard
