  1. Yup, this should be priority #1. Use the one from WoW as a guide. Do it for raids too. Open worlds to all factions. If I want to fly to Korriban and get my *** kicked, I should be able to. Give us the ability to attack opposing faction installations.
  2. I had my first open world PVP experience yesterday (because Ilum doesn't count). I was riding through the lawless section on Tatooine trying to get my red rakghoul pet. There was one other person there - a sage. Being a commando, he was obviously from my own faction. I rode by him, because I have no beef with the guy, and I was busy, you know? Anyway, he follows me for a bit and then decides he's going to try and take me out. I'm in 13/14 BM gear, and this guy was quite obviously in PVE gear. Even with his headstart while it registered with me that he was actually attacking me, and I had to dismount and all that, I still pounded him into the ground. I think demo round by itself took half his health away. I mounted back up again and rode away from the little blood splotch that was formerly an actual player. /csb
  3. Pfft, I can beat anybody 1v1 on my commando ...if I outgear them by a lot.
  4. People are leaving losing WZs more frequently now, since they see no downside to leaving the game early if it's an obvious loss. Thus, more spots than normal are spots in in-progress losing WZs, which means you will see more of those.
  5. Are you using adrenals, stims, and trinkets? I guarantee that people posting these large crits are biochem (like me), or are at least are buying stims from the GTN and using warzone adrenals.
  6. 700 expertise rating isn't all that good in 1.2. Full BM gear gives around 1130 or so. At any rate, that kind of hit is completely believable in 1.2. My largest hit in not-quite-full BM was 7153, but that was with Rakata power adrenal and a crit trinket popped, so I'm sure the guy that hit you had his buffs going as well. Get more expertise and you won't be hit that hard. I'm enjoying the QQ over HSM/DR these days though, after the whole 'NERF GR SPAMM RARRR'.
  7. I dunno who gave you those amounts, but it doesn't match my experience. Just got out of a losing Civil War. I earned 12 medals in the loss. I received 52 comms and 1365 credits. Fewer credits than it used to be but the comms are good.
  8. Mine was not 2 attacks going off at the same time, stacking together as one hit. This hit was against a pvp geared target (expertise level unknown). I had a rakata power adrenal and a crit trinket popped, as well as a rakata aim stim. I have 10 pieces of BM gear, and 4 pieces of champ gear, which means this number is only going to go up: http://imgur.com/BqxxR
  9. I hate buying the warzone adrenals. Might start again when I don't have any more gear I need to buy.
  10. It was with the rakata power adrenal, also have the rakata aim stim on at all times. I'm also quite sure it could hit harder.
  11. For the people denying the kind of hits Comm/Mercs are getting, I present a screenshot: http://imgur.com/HtALm
  12. I hit for 7153 on a target with at least some level of pvp gear. Rakata stim, rakata power adrenal, crit trinket. I'm in 10 pieces of BM gear, rest Champion, unmodded. It was awesome! Yes, I have a screenshot at home.
  13. Just curious, did you have your skill points refunded and haven't redone your build yet?
  14. 10 bucks says this didn't actually make it into the patch.
  15. It's funny that not one person here said DPS Merc/Comm, yet there's a million QQ posts about GR/TM every day. Truth is that DPS Merc/Comms scare nobody because they are a mere annoyance in any WZ. They need an interrupt to be competitive.
