  1. Got kicked from the Server at 20:37. Seems like the Bandages came loose. Time to pull them tight again.
  2. You are joking, right? It was nearly midnight when the servers went mad again. Usually, it takes about half to an hour before we get any response and even longer before you write your infamous "the servers seem to recover themselves. We are keeping a close look at it." phrase. So everyone and his Wampa left and went to bed. The second 90% of my guild, and probably the whole server, gave up and left, the remaining ones could join the started operation again. Please don't even start with your "it's resolving itself" speech. That's not gonna happen. Tomorrow evening the server will just die again when people want to do OPs.
  3. Here we go again. Friday Night. Server is done.
  4. Welcome to Tulak Hord. Please sit down and wait for Eric to tell you again that Servers are down and getting investigated. Again and Again and Again and Again. If it's 21:45 and you were in the middle of a Raid. Sucks to be you.
  5. No message what so ever over an hour after the server died. It's just an EU Server on a Saturday evening anyway. Who cares, right? If it was a one time thing, no big problem, if the server is on average down every second day for two weeks it gets pretty infuriating. EDIT: Ah, finally a post. Time to wait for the "the server seems to stabilize itself again" message.
  6. 20:00 Saturday. Time to kill Tulak Hord again. They are used to it.
  7. What we have right now is no grind. You can make it one, but you are no were near required to do Red Reaper and Hammer Station for days to get your first character to 306. If you think that's the only way to gear right now, you are wrong. Period. Get three guildmates, list for random master flashpoints and you'll be done in four evenings of playing. The repeatable daily reward for the random FP is quite nice and nearly doubles your gear payout. It's even faster if you have already higher geared people with you, since the (useless) set piece that can drop at the end, will randomly take one persons values, which makes you able to acquire 306 gear while you are 270. Back when PvP armor was a thing the grind was real and an absolute ***** show, since you were nothing but dead weight until you did a couple dozen rounds to get max expertise. Gear Upgrades being dropped randomly by level-ups, or just being available at Operations, leaving FPs for nothing but leveling purpose and decorations, forcing you to do story operation nonsense until you had a set bonus and somewhat proper stats again. That is a grind, a needlessly tedious one. The current system is nowhere near perfect since the incentive to play HC and Nim content fades when you get everything blown at you, but its far better than most other games gear progression.
  8. Another Server down. That's now five in nine days for Tulak Hord and again you do it at hours the server is busy doing Raids. Great. Nothing more to say about this. Especially since you either are bad at dates, or we have another one in two days, which at least will be at a half way decent time.
  9. Iam at my wits end when it comes to the Set Bonus for Shield Tech and Immortal. All of them seem not very helpful in doing Raids. Juggernaut can basically rebuild a very bad version of his old set bonus by using the Lord of Pain set in combination with Jaw Breaker. Hord’s Makashi Strike will probably be the better Tactical for boss tanking, while Leviathan’s Hide will do better for FPs. Jaw Breaker seems to be horrible since Backhand is always used whenever it's ready and has a 1min cd. It being ready when you need Invincible is rather random. Iam not a fan of the Lord of Pain Set Bonus either. In most boss encounters that will mean 2.5% increased DR every 40 seconds for 10 seconds. Not particularly overwhelming. Shield Tech Sets are even worse. There is not one that would increase your DR, any useful cooldown reduction, or something that would enhance your defensive CDs. Right Price looks really nice until you put your glasses on and see that Ion Gas cylinder doesn't get the 10% DR and Power Yields Duration cant be enhanced either via Combat Proficiencies since it'll just increase your Damage Bonus again. So the instantly available Explosive Fuel is out of the question. Iam aware that Shield Tech always was the damage dealing tank, but forcing him into such sets, because there is simply no Tank set available, is just horrible. Tacitcals are strange, just like the Immortals. Oil Fire is only effective as long Oil slick is on the ground, which has a 1min CD. It's just like Leviathans Hide an okayish thing to use in FPs. Hotswap is just strange. Only usable in situations where you don't actively tank, or it's not a big deal to lose aggro and move the boss around. Thermal Screen allows you to hold 3 more Heat Screens translates into 3% Absorb chance. Not alot, but its basically active always, bar the moment when you trigger Heat Blast. On the other side there is the Assassin, who has a set bonus the Increases DR by 10% for 6 seconds every 20 and a bunch of situationally usable Tacticals, like increased Shroud Duration, more Dark Ward Stacks, Force Shroud on Guarded target, Double Cloak, which is basically a third Force Shroud, and 2% Absorb for every target hit with Wither. tldr: What did you guys buy for your Shield Tech and Immortal? Atm, it doesn't seem like Shield Tech sets are worth the investment at all, while Lord of Pain seems bearly handy enough to sink 6kk credits and 18k fragments into. I would be happy to be enlightened in case I just missed something very obvious.
  10. Its always four adds spawning in the same position. Each Dps tackles one asap and the tank stuns/pulls the thrid and taunts the fourth, which are also killed by DPS after they are done with theirs. Assassin spawns are managed by running to the boss where they die to the cleave. Redo that until 25%. Complete damage stop on the boss. Do the adds like described above, get back to work. Below 20% you pull your adrenals and keep your defensive CDs ready. Kill the boss before the massive spawn kills you. Works every time as long as you don't push past the 25% spawn and run unprepared into the second add spawn, with no mimax at all. Just 306 gear without Amps, or Augments. I kind of enjoy FP bosses that are requiring a bit of damage and coordination from your group.
  11. Just a friendly reminder that its Friday today. Whatever you want to do to fix the server after monitoring problems for a week now, you should do it before its evening. If you just leave it be over the weekend, because "servers seem fine at 1am EU time, problem probably fixed itself", noone is gonna be happy.
  12. Legacy Flashpoint XP plus Experience Booster plus Experience Equipment translate into one FP per Level from 65 to 72 at which point you'll need about one and a half. If you don't have the armor, which is quite possible, than FPs are still the fastest way. To make Credits you don't earn them yourself. You drain them from others. Crafting Materials are still quite expensive. Conquest mats sell for about 2kk each, Ember for 1kk and Biochem greens for enough to make it worth selling them. Crafting and selling Artifact Meds, Stims and Adrenals is also profitable. The best part about the Conquest is, that you basically do it passively by just earning XP. You dont need a Companion with 50 Affinity to start crafting. It'll just be more profitable that way. I can't say anything about your "I cant do heroics solo" problem. Have not done them in years.
  13. Iam starting to feel angry. This is the third day in a row that Tulak Hord isnt functioning. Some of my characters are stuck in a loading screen without a loading bar. After about 10 minutes I get tossed back into my character selection screen. Pretty amazing. Its the only two characters with equipment, so I basically cant play content with my friends until those characters get fixed. A nice way to welcome back subscribers. Make them write a ticket about a problem, one caused by messy servers, which basically prohibits me to play the game.
  14. You wake up in the morning and one character is still stuck in the void, while the other one gets stuck in the loading screen to the fleet. When I come back from work the servers will be offline. I am not sure what Server seemed to stabilize itself, but it wasn't Tulak Hord.
  15. Its annoying that this happens twice a day for two days at prime time hours. It might be midday at your place but the madness always starts at 19:xx. Loading screen is stuck at 2/3 when logging into a character. Before that the game just basically lagged out on my with a 190 second ping. Please fix your server, which ruins otherwise fine evenings.
