  1. I'm pretty sure it already is a thing, idr what it's called but I think by default it is E because I have yet to change my keybinds for GSF and it targets whoever is within my crosshair.
  2. They really do like putting it during the season where it's perfect weather to be outside lol. Clever bastards.
  3. I stopped PvP because of this. Once I found out I had to win to get anything I said screw it because 9/10 it's me and maybe one other person trying and the rest are too busy hunting down the enemy and ignoring the objectives. Pair that with the fact that I myself am not the greatest and have likely reached the pique of my abilities and there is 0 reason for me to queue anymore. I just hope they leave GSF alone. Even with a team that's lacking it's still worth the time put in.
  4. I'm on Star Forge and idk why but whenever I do any chapters my ping skyrockets but once I get back into normal play I have no issues. Can go hours without any issues but the second I start a chapter I'm lagging.
  5. Hotfix for the Bitraider client issue regarding quickplay.
  6. You can access it at any point after Chapter 9. It basically is a more interesting Alliance Alert mission and as such has zero impact on the overall story and has no ideal place to start it.
  7. Nah just kidding. Welcome newbies and welcome back to all you who have returned! Fills me with joy to see the servers so active! There are lots of things that have changed over the years and the game may be confusing to those not familiar but don't hesitate to ask for help in General Chat or on the forums. Lots of folks are willing to give advice, I've even noticed an increase in helpfulness on Imp side too. Stick around, consider subscribing if you enjoy the game and experience some of the best Star Wars stories this game has to offer! May the force be with you friends!
  8. For my JK: Kira - For starters she's his wife so leaving her behind would be bad. Plus she offers not only decent strengths in combat but a good counter to his usual seriousness in tense situations. LS Jaesa - Her abilities and inside knowledge of the Empire would come in handy for a returning Jedi Master. Plus after spending so much time behind enemy lines it'd probably be good for her to tag along with one of the (mostly) purest Jedi out there. Theron - His connections within the Republic and his overall loyalty warrants him tagging along. Plus it's Theron and he's pretty much an asset in every aspect. Lana - Her connections within the Empire and her overall loyalty warrants her tagging along. She'd also offer a good voice of pragmatism to any situation. Doc - Gonna need a medic and he's proven himself. He would be great to keep things... well you can always count on him to patch you up. I was going to say T7 in place of Lana but I think that little guy has earned himself a well deserved vacation, so he can watch the old homestead. I am going to cheat though and switch out C2-N2 with Senya in the caretaker role. Rather have her looking after the ship than the droid.
  9. I got really lucky on the GTN and managed to snag a set for just over 3m credits BUT I am all for having this put on the direct buy list. Such a nice armor.
  10. Hey folks! Gonna be going silent for about a month. Decided to take my goddaughter down to Washington D.C. to see a few museums and monuments next month but her siblings weren't all to thrilled that they weren't going too so I had to change my plans to accommodate the other three, which means it got about twice as expensive. So with that being said I'm going to be suspending my sub til probably late August - early September to be on the safe side. Don't burn the place down while I'm gone, make sure to feed the Kowakian Monkey-Lizard, and do remember to take off your shoes when you enter the temple. It's incredibly hard to get the mud out of the tiny cracks in the stone. Also, you can have ONE party while I'm gone... just be sure to clean up afterwards and that no one dies! <3 Dave
  11. Spent some more time in the stronghold today. My biggest qualm would have to be constantly being dismounted when going through the PVP areas. So I have suggestion that could potentially solve this problem and several others I've seen on the thread. Give us the option to turn off PvP. With that option we can remove all the objects that are related to PvP in the stronghold (barriers, terminals, PvP zones that dismount and remove companions, scoreboards, etc.) so those who have zero interest in PvP have the ability to make the stronghold more homey and useful for their particular needs. It wont please everyone but I think it's a huge step in the right direction to making those who want to decorate it much more satisfied. Also a "clean" option would be nice too. Maybe have it on a terminal on the ship's bridge or something and this will basically remove a bunch of the junk piles from the stronghold and open up a few more hooks of varying sizes. I think having it on the bridge would be best since it would require expanding the stronghold. Maybe make the cleaning cost 500k-750k and their CC counterparts too. Obviously having the stronghold set to PvP will keep all the PvP related things. From what I am seeing, besides some bugs, the PvPers are generally satisfied with how you have it now and since I haven't really tested the PvP stuff out personally I can't really make any suggestions regarding it.
  12. First off, Rishi is darkly beautiful. It was very well thought out and in terms of aesthetics I think you nailed what you were going for perfectly. It was always advertised as a pirate haven so it makes sense that it's got a slum look to it since that's where all the pirates hang out in the SoR story, so I expected it to be that way. I'm definitely going to buy it but I'm personally going to ignore about 60% of the area and focus on the beach, hidden cave, and ship areas. That being said, I would love to see more hooks of varying sizes along the beach and possibly some in the water as well. Perhaps a few more centerpiece size ones as well with the ability to change them to the standard 4 large, large med mix, etc. to offer those who want the beach type stronghold more options to decorate that specific area. The only issue I have with the ship is the lack of hooks along the main corridors. It would be nice to have some large hooks tossed in here and there in the center of the corridors just to add a bit of flair to the relatively barren walkways. The top of the ship though is perfect. Not really interested in the PvP options but the regular stronghold hooks have a great selection. Addendum: Apparently the layouts weren't working on the beach in regards to the Starship hook. Having gone in again they loaded in this time and I am quite pleased with how many options we have and how they are laid out. Now if only we could get the Shadow of Revan Rishi Torch decoration cap increased to say.... 200... or 999.... then I'd be satisfied. 10 torches isn't going to light my tiki bar properly.
  13. Call me old fashioned but I prefer the grind over handing out the highest gear to your alts. I think we should have to work for it on each character we want to have it on. You did it with one toon, now use the 25% boost to get the next one there for the 50% and so on. They designed it that way for a reason. Seems no one wants to actually work hard for their things these days. I understand grinds aren't fun, they aren't supposed to be fun. They're supposed to keep you busy while you wait for more content. Sure, it's a deterrent for some but then again it is an MMO and grinding has always been a staple in them. I think they softened people up to much by making leveling far too easy now. Compared to how the game used to be the command/gear grind is easy. Don't get me wrong though, I sympathize with you. I have 15 alts I need to level and gear. Sure I'd love it if the stuff I got with my main could be transferred to my others so I didn't have to work as hard and for the most part it is if you utilize the legacy gear, but at the same time I'd hate it because it wouldn't really be working for it. Doesn't feel like you've accomplished as much as you would have had you done it the hard way. But that's just me. To each their own.
  14. For the most part my Light Side JK is pure Light Side. Usually if he doesn't agree with the LS decision it'll be as close to neutral as possible. He only ever made two choices that would be considered dark. Spoilers for KotFE and KotET follow:
  15. I made the topic to have a discussion about the movie, to hear what other people thought of it and compare our opinions. That's it, that's the only fact there is regarding that. As for not seeing it sooner, I don't know why you'd think I'm lying about only just seeing it, after all it legitimately released on Netflix the day before I posted this. You say you aren't making any assumptions but you continue to make them. You said I wasn't interested in seeing it earlier, I never said that. All I said was that after seeing all the negativity surrounding it I went in with low expectations. I wanted to see it when it first came out, I was actually very interested to see where it was going with how they ended TFA, however I refuse to go to the theater for any movie because around here it's $20 a ticket, then you factor in gas because the closest theater is about 30 miles away and it goes up to $25-$30 to see one movie, one time which is too high of a price to reasonably spend on a movie. Just isn't worth it to me. Then I heard it was coming to Netflix so I figured I could wait despite my want to see it. It's what I like to call control and it ended up saving me $20. So even though I may not be willing to drop whatever money I can on it or that I'm willing to wait to get a better deal, that doesn't mean I don't care about it. I just care more about not needlessly spending money on something I don't have to. I've always looked at the new Star Wars movies as they can do whatever they want so long as they don't retcon any of the previous movies to fit whatever they want to throw in. They can add all they want, kill whoever they want, change things in the present time that their movies take place, so long as they don't touch the other movies I'm fine. It's ultimately their right. I may not agree with some of their decisions and I'll point out the bs when I see it, otherwise it's theirs to do as they please. So that may be where our greatest differences lie.
