  1. I've tried to be quiet and optimistic, but I am actually angry now and want to give feedback. Please, if you are going to stop supporting entire segments of your player base, at least ask permission from your superiors to TELL us that raiding is over and done with, instead of letting us fester and stress out over the future of this game. There is no sign of new ops (or pvp or gsf) areas anytime in the next year, after waiting for over a year already. Now you are telling us that we will continue to be punished for choosing to run harder group content. We just keep hoping that someone will come in and give us a glimmer of hope that this will change, but instead all we hear about are solo content updates, while our friends get bored of doing the same easy HMs over and over again and leave. Its stressful and drama-inducing, and discourages people from logging in.
  2. So far I've only killed myself twice (accidentally) with the new butt-charge ability, but my raid team will forever mock me for those two times. Both were in my opener, when I confused my electro-net hotkey with butt-charge [cntrl-b]. HM master-blaster, for those interested. In terms of helpful uses, I've been using this skill to get out of melee for Annihilation Droid, to "jump" to the bombs for SS, and a handful of other "move faster" mechanics, but I don't find it nearly as helpful as Trick Move, the movement skill on my scoundrels. Its interesting to try and find uses for it. At least butt-charge can be useful, whereas the vanguard talent (from what I can tell) is only helpful in Huttball and to troll your fellow raid members.
  3. I haven't been able to track down what is causing this, but when I relog into level 65 characters that had 5+ hours left on their purple stims, the stim has been wiped. This has only been happening since the last patch on 11/17/2015.
  4. I can't tell if I am going crazy, but I swear I am logging out with the 8-hour stims still active with hours left on characters, but they are gone when i log in the next day. Has anyone else seen this?
  5. They are rather silly. Coupled with the mind-numbing SM ops and the hilarious gearing changes, I can't tell what the end game is with operations right now. Its like Bioware wants everything to be a cakewalk. I get some of the catering to casual play, but raiders need a challenge (preferably a new challenge, with new achievements) or they will get bored and wander off. Even just an announcement of planning for a new operation would be enough to motivate us through EZ mode ops for a few months.
  6. Most raiding teams on our server (and even in our guilds) raid at approximately the same time. For the last several weeks, there has been a constant wait and battle at peak raiding times to kill the world boss so that we can all go play with HM monolith. Why was the buff changed so that just being in the area isn't enough for the buff anymore? Its not like killing the world boss is hard, its just time consuming and monotonous to wait for him to be available.
  7. I agree with this post. Are you [the devs] looking to prevent ALL aoes from stopping caps, or just the spammable ranged aoes? There is a big difference.
  8. I love the class in operations as well! I have four scoundrels/ops, and enjoy healing on them all immensely in both pve and pvp. I no longer enjoy leveling or soloing while in sawbones spec, but I do understand that this is a personal preference.
  9. Scoundrels in heal spec can put out almost NO reasonable damage when they are not healing, and their range and burst dps is flat out terrible now that those two skills are gone. I have stopped pvping while leveling, because you are almost forced to switch to a DPS spec to kill mobs in any reasonable length of time. I sit on fleet while pvping at 60 because grinding dailies while specced is a horrible, tedious activity. I would not say that this is fine. And I heartily disagree with the healers shouldn't be able to do damage. I don't expect DPS (or even tank) level sustained damage, but fights ebb and flow in both pvp and pve, and both of the other two healing classes have far better utility when dtps is low because of the quantity and variability of the dps skills they still have to assist their teams. Between shoot first, explosive probe, and orbital, Sawbones lost 30% of its dps abilities. The other classes retained theirs, and they include quite a bit of range, aoe, and burst options. Electronet, missile barrage, force storm, force lightning, crushing darkness, full auto...all great skills. If we are at range (which is every pve fight) scoundrels have vital shot with a few flurry of bolts.
  10. At least 3 different Aisthesis groups, Ry. I think all the kills have had a scoundrel healer so far, since this fight was made for aoe healers.
  11. While I agree that if the loot rules have been stated they should be followed, I'll add that I would have left as soon as someone stated those rules. Why shouldn't someone be allowed to roll on anything, even just to upgrade mods/enhancements, because they already have their six-piece? With the prevalence of crit/surge mods and enhancements, it takes a heck of a lot more than 7 tokens to min/max a gear set for raiding.
  12. I'd check The Guild Contact list. It shows what guilds consider themselves in terms of PvP, PvE, RP, and GSF. They just did another check step, so a lot of guilds need to request themselves back off the inactive list, but overall it is a great tool. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=752625
