  1. Ranked PVP is really good part of game if you have 8-man geared premade at voice. At least on our server it's competitive, fun and so on. If you don't have guild/friends premade, well, what did you expect? Of course you'll be destroyed in pugs. Solo queue with a separate ranking will be a huge addition to current system.
  2. Carnage doing excellent, especially at rated warzones. Still, at pugs, unless you're running with pocket healer, annihilation is better.
  3. Stats: mods from wh helm, enchantments from sorcerer force gloves. Basically you reach 100% accuracy, +-75% surge, 25-28% crit and then you want put all you can into power.
  4. Used Annihilation for 6 months, using Carnage for past month. Carnage just suits better for ranked, especially with recent gore changes. Taking a fact that usual ranked team gets at least 3 healers, burst from carnge is much better than sustained anni damage in those cases.
  5. True, it happened since launch sometimes (once per x days), but for last few weeks it happens nearly at every game, at least for me.
  6. Happens all the time in last week or so, often few times per game. Still, you don't need to die, just ask sorc/powertech/sin to pull you.

  8. If you're good marauder against good team - there would be big mark over you all the time telling everyone 'kill this bastard'. Predation, yes, one of the biggest advanteges. Camo? I find 6 seconds with improved speed much more usefull than snares off. Roots are usefull at hutball, but it's not that breaking deal advantage. You still have choke, roar, charge. After playing both specs for a pretty long time, I find 'sitting on target' much easier with rupture root and 1m charge rather then carnage roots. It looks like most of the commenters here are theorycrafting and didn't reach that level of skill at pvp when they can start giving advices which is a bit sad. If you're good player and enemies know your capabilies, it's much more harder to be usefull (especially 1v1/1v2) with carnage rather than annihilation. Enemies know what you can do, they stun/push after gore in 8/10 cases. It's like you wait for assasins CD's to kill him or interrupt a right heal at operative to break his chain. You may say that warzones are 8x8, but reality shows that it's still 1v1/1v2/2v3 etc mini fights most of the times, when you can just do more with Annihilation. I'm not saying that Carnage is bad, it's good and it's fun to play, but Annihilation just better at the moment.
  9. I always smile when read comments like this. So I would get as max surge as I can because my Force Scream auto-crit at carnage? And that's skill I use once per 10 GCD? What about assault/battery, vicious/masacre, gore, ravage? You don't need crit on them? +- 25% crit, 70% surge, 100% accuracy - mandatory for any tree/build, then you pick power or endurance or strength. Or you would take 78% surge and 15% crit (not sure about math but after +- numbers above you won't get so much if you boost those stats more) for carnage?
  10. Like annihilation phantom much more. 6 seconds and improved speed gives a lot benefits at warzones.
  11. I'd say +- 25% crit, 70% surge, 100% accuracy are start for any build. After that you either go with power or with endurance or with both. I personally picked +41 endurance crystal while having power at other parts.
  12. There isn't rotation on PVP (except that very basic one), because it will always depend from situation and enemy buffs/skills.
