  1. I've got a guild member that I want to buy an extra slot for, but I'm unsure if that's something that can be traded or if it's something that's automatically added to my account.
  2. (1) This post is too long, the average attention span of people who come onto this subsection (and even some of the moderators) aren't going to give it more than a cursory glance. Make a TL;DR if possible. (2) I agree with your points, and I can understand how it would be frustrating. When I switched over to Ebon Hawk, I found that my main's name was taken too... which was disappointing, but I adapted. I think there should be a system in place where if your account is inactive for longer than, say, 90 days, the names of your characters are relinquished, but your character is still there. So when you log back on after 91 days, if someone has taken your name, you'll have to make a new one since you were inactive for so long.
  3. Perhaps you haven't heard
  4. Or, you know, maybe they just didn't like the game because it wasn't their type of game?
  5. I wish they would add additional leveling content - by that I mean more than just the linear pathway of planets that we're presented with. I would like the opportunity to go to various different planets at the same level, for a different experience each time. The thing that killed the game for me was the fact that I had to do essentially the same little story each and every time I wanted to create someone new, aside from the single quest line for each class on the planets. So once I got a level fifty on both sides of the conflict, I knew it was essentially going to be the exact same thing if I wanted to re-roll again. So what major factor would I like to see in 1.3? Some type of foundation for non-linear leveling progression. Along with that, some smaller and less important details for me would be: more guild mechanics (which I'm sure will be coming) and a biography section for your character ('cause I'm a role-player). EDIT: And I know some people are going to say 'well you could choose different conversation options', and while definitely true, the problem with that is that very little of your choices actually made a difference in your storyline. I couldn't think of a single one that really affected your storyline to the point where you could completely change the course of your character's progression, like in single player role-playing games.

I was born, raised and currently reside in Marion, Indiana - though that won't be for much longer after I join the AF. EDIT: Dat necro.
  7. Gaymer and SW:TOR role-player here, on the Lord Adraas server. Names of characters are Tythus on the Imperial side and Vaun on the Republic. Always up for role-play and other PvE content! I can be contacted via the PM system on the forums until tomorrow, as I'm in the process of re-installing the game after a reformat of my computer.
  8. It will use your original name, and your legacy name if you choose to display it. For example, if my character's name were Bob, it would be Darth Bob. If his Legacy was Smith, it would be Darth Bob Smith.
  9. 1. ) In this game, there are no absolute stereotypes for one faction or the other. You'll have just as many young (and sometimes immature) children on Republic as you will on the Empire. If you can get through Coruscant/Dromund Kaas General chat, you can handle anything this game can throw at you. 2.) The Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitor are probably as close as you can get to a 'Shaman'. They can tank (with the Assassin/Shadow), do melee DPS (Assassin/Shadow), ranged DPS (Sorcerer/Sage), and heal (Sorcerer/Sage).
  10. The first months of any MMO are going to be riddled with bugs. People should know this by now. Get over it. EDIT: And this has also been one of the smoothest launches for a game I've ever seen. I'm currently level fifty on my Sith Inquisitor and didn't experience a single game-breaking bug (aside from Taris but that was fixed within the week it was reported) that affected my ability to play and enjoy the game.
  11. Perhaps for a game such as EVE Online this might work, but we're talking about millions upon millions of players playing the game at the same time -- if not right now, in the very near future. Not only would the lag be immense, but the game would just be absolutely crammed. Now, reducing it to five or six servers? I could see that.
  12. People... The game was just released exactly one week and one day ago. They have years - years - to improve upon existing systems and implement new ones. I'm quite positive that almost everything that I have read so far (admittedly I have skimmed some replies) is being listed here will be implemented. You just need to give it time.
