  1. I think instead of decreasing cooldowns on DPS abilities or making them instant cast they should increase survivability. Make our bubble absorbe more damage and last about 2 seconds longer. Let our jetpacks or rocket boots give us an escape so we can be viable. I do agree with the OP on roots and slows though. They do need to work better and have a lower CD. The DPS of the class although not perfect is fine IMO. I would ask the dev's to please make us more survivable. Make Kolto heal more quicker is a must and reduce the CD on it.
  2. I have full Brutilizer gear except for my off-hand currently. I have been pyro since launch but since 2.7 Pyro is too squishy to play at all and 0 versatility compared to Arsenal. Arsenal offers a bit more survivability but not much. In Ranked 4 v 4 matches, Mercs are generally the focus. We can't bubble like sorcs and are easily stun locked making us great targets. Some arenas offer LOS but that is not always the case. I try to survive the 4 v 1 onslaught in every WZ but there just inst much that can be done for the class in 4 v 4 arenas. The build of the class is ineffective in this WZ area unless you are lucky enough to have a tank that will guard you. The adrenals and specing the reduced cooldown on Kolto helps but again not much but it does increase survivability. The game for a Merc in 4 v 4 is live as long as you can not dps. This is testing my ability as a player. I trust I will work this out to the best of my ability until the devs offer us abilities that make us competitive instead of fodder. I suggest engaging last when ever possible. LOS and turtle up, and use Kolto and Kolto missile alot. When focused on try to disengage and run LOS while Kolto'ing. This breaks up the enemy team, you most likely will still die but give your team a chance to bring the opposing team players down while they chase you down for the kill. I hope what I been doing helps some of you, if any of you have better suggestions please post them. I will try it. I will state though for the record that my poor PVP experience is only in the 4 v 4 arenas.
  3. To start I want to say My main character is a Merc not an Operative. But I do play an Operative and enjoy it. I was saddened that the takedown was removed from the classes hidden strike. Operative were always unstoppable 1 vs 1. I had no problem with this at all. But now Operatives in concealment spec are pretty weak now. This is not my main class I play but I can see why many people will not like the changes made to the class. It seems from my point of view they were made by listening to others complain rather than making an objective pass to the class. Operative changes are to much of a nerf for me.
  4. I agree with the OP. Please stop the double experience in this game. I know it's an effort to get people to play, but your killing the content! I out level everything so fast the content becomes not fun at all when you just blaze through it because your level is to high for it. Please let people experience the content and stop the double exp weeks all together. If people want to gain experience that fast let them buy it from the cartel market. You really are killing you game by doing this! All the content you have made means nothing to you by doing this! You are making me sad.

  6. Yes Rift has set the bar high for customer service in my opinion. BioWare though will close your threads down. They don't want to hear it.

  11. Just depends on how much you have invested in your characters and how attached your are to them. Time already invested means a great deal to me myself.
  12. I would bet you can't heal and animal, or weld metal or shape it, it is due to the fact people are wired differently. Some may excel at spelling, others excel at other things. It has nothing to do at all about intelligence. I argue all people have the same intelligence. It is their environment in which they live that dictates how that intelligence is applied. For example I do not know how to build a plane. But place me in the environment in which I absolutely had to build planes I would eventually learn to do so. Everyone has this skill not just a few, even the ones that don't articulate to your satisfaction. Therefore I agree with you to a point. For each person is differently wired. It could take the a great deal of time to become proficient with a game. Yet take them 1 minute to diagnose a disease.
  13. Well it only truly impacted the ability to play your level 50's. So how do you place a price on that? All I can say is I pay to play my level 50 so I have been severely impacted by no being able to do so the entire Free month they gave us minus the first week.
  14. OMG! You know people use text to chat in MMO's right? And just because a person may not have an exceptional ability to spell does not make them dumb or stupid. They may have exceptional math skills, or be able to works metals, or heal animals or people. Just saying intelligence is relative. People excel where their environments need them to. Spelling is also relative. Examples. Love, Luv, <3, pitter pat, twitterpated, adore, all mean the same thing and you know exactly what I meant. What does it matter how anyone spells anything as long as you understand what they mean?
  15. I think we should be able to talk to them in general chat or zone chat. But you can only talk to them in say chat.
