  1. Because unless the current and new OP's have less bugs and no lag you will lose most of your paying subs due to your broken End Game. Honestly the current state of OP's is NOT worth having to pay a sub, so might as well go all the way and make the whole game F2P. Not trying to sound all whiney here, just a frustrated loyal customer and Raider who is getting more and more dis-satisfied with the current state of End Game Raiding.
  2. IMO this should be THE #1 priority. Before any more OPs are released they need to figure out A. How to better de-bug the content and B. FIX THE LAG! Sadly though I fear EA's priority is on shady cash grabs like adding a F2P option. They keep this up and there will be no more Subbed players just the F2Prs. Because honestly the current state of OP's in this game is NOT worth a sub fee.
  3. Would like to see others views on this as well. We lost Armor and self healing power, so i would think just stacking end augments won't really cut it.
  4. Honest question. You and may many others have waited this "bloody" long already, why is it now all of a sudden you simply can't wait a few more days? Why now that the process has started you and others are freaking out because other servers came first. Doesn't make any "bloody" sense "mate".
  5. Yep, as above best way to do this or any encounter is the way that works best for your guild. Try it one way for awhile, if having a hard time, switch it up. Stick with the way that works for YOU. Personally for my guild, we switch tanks and leave bosses on same sides. Main reason we found is its better to just have the tanks move back and forth rather than having to have the Melee follow the boss around because they need to stay on Toth due to Zorn being VERY melee unfriendly. So our way theres only two people moving the whole fight, the two tanks.

  8. I beg to differ on ranged not having to deal with stuff. On Foreman crusher the ranged have to deal with those meteors, melee does not. On SOA phase 1 ranged has to deal with those blue aoe circles, melee does not. I'm sure there are a few more examples as well. Overall though yes melee does in fact generally have to deal with a little more stuff than ranged does, BUT its always been like that. Been playing MMO's since EQ and yes its always been this way. In those past games though melee was given a slight DPS boost to compensate. In SWTOR melee doesn't really appear to have that boost so thats where the difference comes from. This is a class balance issue not a boss mechanic issue .

  10. You are confused. A DPS spec'd Assassin is a full DPS class like any other in this game.
  11. Been playing MMO's since EQ and this has never been true. Maybe you've just been playing with melee bads? My experience is that while yes it'll always be a tad more challenging to play Melee their DPS output has always been on par with other DPS classes. Until SWTOR that is. Whether its a balance issue or a design flaw Melee in this game are far from being on par with ranged classes. This isn't an MMO issue its a SWTOR issue.

  13. They never stated anything of the kind. What they DID say is its not as simple as just being able to disable the red text. Because that red text is used for so many things in the game. its also used for Boss warnings in Ops and such.   14. Best thing we have found is to just keep running away from it until it drops. There is clearly a display/lag issue with the ability. If you stop just outside the animation you still might get hit by it. So just keep running away from it until it lands.
  15. 100% False. Just a quick look in the PTS forums and devtracker will show that the devs were working with and encouraging the community to make Combat log parsers.
