  1. The Hero Engine DOES suck. I think even Cryptic's MMO engine is better (NEVER thought I would say something like that!). SWTOR uses a modified version of the Hero Engine. The developers of the Hero engine have licensed it out - they don't care about SWTOR. http://www.industrygamers.com/news/swtor--rift-launches-push-new-hero-engine-licenses/
  2. I'm looking forward to the video that explains how I can end my journey.
  3. You're ship actually IS in the Orbital Station - even if you travelled there by shuttle. It's a continuity error that helps to break immersion
  4. Just another page in the book of fail that is "on-rails space combat" The game would be better if they got rid of the whole thing. Do it properly or not at all. There is no try!
  5. I haven't logged in for the last few weeks. Just not feeling it!
  6. "X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter" style space-combat AND travel. And MUCH better graphics would also be good.
  7. Actually, it is very important to me. I want to immerse myself in the "diagetic" reality of the game. I don't want to "pretend", or constantly lie to myself, about the universe of SWTOR.
  8. That's true. Many group missions don't have any group dialogue at all.
  9. I agree. I hardly have ANY social points because when I group, nobody ever wants to turn missions in together. Still Social Level 1 here.

  11. Agree with OP. Either do space travel + combat properly or don't do it at all (i.e. not on rails). "Do or do not. There is no try."
  12. Same. I'm only level 33 but losing interest Sounds like the game might be worth checking out in a few months, after some more of these content updates - so I might unsubscribe for now.
  13. I never use the Freezing Force thing - it seems utterly useless. Pommel Strike sounds good and I always TRY to use it - however it NEVER is available, even when enemies seem "incapacitated" (required for use). I didn't take Enure at first but it can be useful. Just gives you an extra 10 seconds and 30% health to neutralise all threats before you die.
  14. I buy most materials from the GTN, when they are cheap. In the end, it's usually MUCH cheaper than crew skill missions. The missions are a gamble - you MIGHT crit. but you probably wont.
