All 4 of the ones I have opened have had commendations in them, it really is completely random I guess.

This is probably a stupid question and is most likely common sense, however I don't want to accidentally get the wrong one. Which gear is for which class? More specifically the assassin.

I don't know much about if the game is really loosing many players or not, but I do know that my server has gotten so much smaller since I originally started playing on it, at least on imperial side. First off the fleet, which usually had at least 50 people (around 100 daily originally) has gone down to 10-30 pretty much all day. The starter planets which originally had like 80-120 people have gone down to 20-30 on them (Dromund Kaas, Hutta, ect). The in between planets, from like Balmorra to Corellia have gone down from the already pathetic 15 on each planet to around 10, some from 10 to 5 or lower. One side usually dominates PVP, tends to be Republic on my server, probably from population decline on Imperial side. I'm honestly considering quitting if no way to transfer to a bigger server comes soon. Server transfers should have been possible from the beginning, and server merges are starting to seem like a really good idea. I really enjoy the game and all, but if there aren't people to play it with, my 15 a month seems wasted.

Is the assassin really all that worth it in PVP? Or should I just make a new character for it?

Would anyone happen to have any advice on specs and rotations for an assassin?

Yes I HIGHLY realize that now, practically after the first game I realized that. I even thought about that a little while I was under 50, but I figured it couldn't be that much different. Boy was I wrong.

Alright so I recently just hit the 50 bracket for PVP, was happy I got to 50, little mini celebration in my head, woohoo, ect ect. However, I now realize that the 50 bracket is a far play from the 1-49 bracket. I get completely pummeled when I play. I don't have any of my cent gear yet, is that why? Should I just keep going with it until I can get completely geared? I basically do crap for damage against nearly everyone now.

I've actually recently noticed my servers population getting smaller and smaller every day. I only see like 30 people on the fleet at a time, and at the MOST 20 people on most of the mid planets. They really do need server merges. My guild is suffering because of underpopulation at the moment.

What you are asking for is just way too much. If this was actually in effect, and you say had a horrible connection that disconnects you, or got a lot of random interruptions that force you to leave, you might understand it better. When someone pays a ridiculous amount of money for a game (15 dollars a month when it should probably be 5 plus 60 dollars originally), I think it's fair to be able to leave a game you deem unfit to play when you want to without penalty. It's not like they won't get replaced with someone else in que for the warzone.

Good intention of ideas, bad severity of them. Having a penalty for quitting such as a 15-30 minute ban on you entering warzones or maybe a 25-50% penalty to commendations and valor penalty for an hour even. But the harshness of what you are suggesting is just too much.

I have the ATI Radeon 6870 and other moderate specs so it just surprises me when I lag this horribly on a game.
