Fatman could be cool, I know quite a few people IRL who re-rolled there after server populations died. I'd be just as happy for p5 though... I just want see people in places other than fleet.

Belgoth's Beacon has 1 fleet with 21 people on it. 1 person in Black Hole, 6 on Belsavis, 1 on Corellia, and 0 everywhere else. 29 Republic players on the whole server. This is a little low for peek, but not drastically different from what we usually have...Here's hoping for tomorrow.

This goes here because I don't know where else to put it. Why are the Kama's (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kama) attached to the heavy chest's armor. It's a belt accoutrement. Simply moving Kama's onto some belts would widely vary trooper appearances...Perhaps it could be a lvl 50 craft item that only those with armormech could wear.

you are correct...Lucas is terrible with canon. For now we are left to assume that the stories of his death were greatly exaggerated.

Star WARS The technology actually gets worse as as you move forward from era to era.. It's generally contributed to long drawn out wars that bring an empire crashing down and many of its advancements with it. The ideas remain so societies rebuilds each time with what is essentially the war torn left overs of the last super power and new ideas. Technology peaks as the wars climax and then society crumbles. In the later eras it gets real bad. Rebellion, New Republic, NJO, and then Legacy, they all happen fro 0 aby-40 aby and by Legacy every things a piece of ****. The rule of two really kills a game set after ROTJ unless you go all the way into Legacy era. But Sith Era (when SWTOR takes place) is by far the longest and least documented Era, so they had the most freedom in this era.
