  1. you do realize biochem is the only good trade skill right now? all the crafting skills re eclipsed by raiding or flashpoint gear, hell even daily gear is better then anything made. the only skill that has use is biochem for unlimited medpacks, stims and the cooldown adrenals. you would be foolish to drop it. but i guess if you don't plan to do anything at 50 go for it.

Unless anyone has proof of either new schematics dropping above current available RE'ed purples there is no reason to use Armortech Synthweaving Armscrafting Artificing or Cybertech*. *Cybertech can still make BIS spaceship mods and droid parts With daily commendations any orange gear can become better then anything crafted for 7 slots. (Head, Chest, Hands, Legs, Belts, Feet, Weapon, Offhand) With daily commendations you can get Ear pieces and Implants and offhands better then currently craftable. That leaves what, relics maybe? although 1 relic is no doubt from holocrons. The only crafting profession that gives a viable bonus is biochem, because of unlimited use stims healing packs and adrenals. (5 minute grenades LOL) I've been scouring for information trying to find a way that crafting can be even on par, and the bottom line is that it just isn't. for the time being just stop wasting money on it. Either grab slicing (but don't send companions on missions just farm it yourself) or let your skills rot and load up on useless mats and schematics. if you want to power level alts feel free but that's about all its worth. oh and orange armors for cool looking gear. and don't forget once you start raiding and doing hardmodes you'll just end up replacing all your orange gear anyway as you can't remove the level 24 and 25 armor mods from gear. crafting skills would be fine, if you couldn't get better gear with dailies, but this one simple thing ruins all crafting professions. best change IMO is to reduce the mods from dailies to below max craftable levels.

I'm curious, Given the Nightmare ect even for single boss fights, wouldn't you want 2 tanks at least given the way taunt works? -30% damage to attack a different target from both tanks at the same time would seriously diminish the bosses damage output. but I suppose that might be a mechanic for specific moments on certain bosses.

  5. Hey Guys, I'm about to hit 34 on Taris and I have been having some issues lately. Now that I Have Followthrough My rotation is doing better but I keep having issues sometimes as Kaiylo is a wet noodle of a tank and I can only dish out so much before death is imminent. I don't have people to play with so I've only done solo quests and some flashpoints in pickups and I love space battles, but I find my quests are usually yellow (same level) or Orange as I go. So it's possible I just need to do some more flashpoints heroic quests and space battles or pvp to grind up a few levels first. My real question I guess Is this: Is it more a matter of gear or level that determines your outcome against enemies. I mean clearly higher level means better gear, but My gear should be fine to do quests at my level, yet some "Boss mobs" I tend to have trouble and have to use stims and pull out every CD in the book to get through. I died probably 3 times on Darth Jadus in his different waves before I got it down. Maybe I'm gearing wrong or something but I'm hearing people say tehy can solo heroic 2+ quests and I'm kind of baffled at that. I seem to be using the same rotations, Ambush laze target explosive prob snipe followthrough ect. and I manage my Energy well almost never going below 60 except in boss battles where I can pop adrenaline prob twice. thanks for any input. I also recent learned about commendation gear and got some of that, and got my first relic from a vendor, also been looking into the differences in quest gear and modded gear, although I don't have enough info on that either. thanks.
