For those guild masters going to the Austin thing, could one of you PLEASE, for me, ask them to consider introducing swimming into this game. I understand that there are a million other things yall want fixed or added right now today, got it, no problem. Im planning to play for awhile so i really can wait. But i just want them to know that there are people out here that find it strange that every planet in the galaxy has water thats only knee high. that just doesnt seem logical and doesnt feel right for a species like us that originated from the oceans. I love the ocean, the beach, lakes, rivers, swimming, surfing, hot tubs, baths, deep sea diving. For me it just feels natural to want to jump into a body of water. its enjoyable and relaxing. i loved to swim in wow for no reason just because you could. my toons always swam to South Shore the first time to get the FP and swam around Undercity on the way to scarlet monestary. Druids had their swim form and special swim quest. Did anyone EVER walk from theramore to Onyxias cave? It just doesnt feel right to walk by a body of water and not be able to jump in and play around. Im not even asking for a Vashii type planet or swim zones with quests you have to do, i wasnt of fan of underwater questing. just somewhere to jump in the water and look at the alien fishies. So pleaes if one of you out there going could just throw that to the bottom of your lists of things you are going to bring up to the developers, i know you have your other concerns, it would really mean a lot to me. thanks!!!

sorry i didnt realize how stupid i was for wanting to be able to swim. because its pointless. unlike dancing or sitting down which are important features to have in your mmo. didnt anyone else ever swim to southshore the first time? swim past undercity to get to scarlet monestary? Im not asking for combat or quests even, ankle high water everywhere sucks. The human race came from the oceans. We value beaches and lakes and oceans. We get our food from them. We bathe in them. They provide us entertainment. They are calming influences. They provide mystery to the human race. Water is a fundemental building block for all life on earth. For there not to be anywhere in the game to jump into some water somewhere is unnatural. If you are trying to create the most realistic experience for the player you've left out a huge part of what it is to be alive quite frankly. There should be swimming. there should be cooking, there should be fishing. And Im kind of shocked that at least the first 2 arent in this game yet. And if there is never going to be swimming i may have to rethink if this game is going to be for me long term.

how can we level up our fishing skill with no water anywhere?

I hope they add it in the future. I liked being able to swim around in wow.

i can understand some things not being in on release no problem, but swimming? wouldnt that be kind of a basic thing to put in?

i bought this game expecting it not to be like wow after 7 years but much like vanilla was when it was released. raw, needing a lot of polish but with great potential. I wanted to be in on the ground floor hopefully for something great so here i am. so going in with that mentality i have not been disappointed. I have my first 50 and halfway to another. When you compare this game a month in to wow a month in which is how Im judging it, its not even close. this game blows it out of the water 100 times. so Im sticking with star wars for now. see where it is in 6 months. if the content and the polish is lacking ill consider maybe trying something else. btw one thing it is seriously lacking right now is DEEP WATER. where are the lakes, the oceans, the rivers? I want to go swimming. seriously hasnt anyone noticed theres not one area where you can swim in this game?

has anyone come across any place in this game on any planet with water deep enough to swim in? is there some reason why there are no lakes or oceans in this game?
