  1. All you "panda" players... try Tera. Way better than that other game and you can be more than just a panda, like be a beaver! And of course, they have the hot/sexy races too, but a lot of panda fixation lately leads me to mention them the most. LOL Seriously though, SWTOR will have it's followers and be mildly successful. The real money maker for this title will be going F2P and having a cash shop. The casual, story following players will spend a ton on fluff and other extras. But that's just my opinion...
  2. New games have bugs and some issues. There is just no way for developers and designers to foresee every issue that could possibly come up. That said, this industry has been around for awhile now. The quality of games being released graphically has gone up. However, the content and execution of launches hasn't gotten much better at all. What some of the old time gamers are upset about is that we aren't seeing improvements where we should after all of these years. Devs and designers KNOW what players are looking for, what they are capable of doing in the games and what has been successful in the past. The problem is that they aren't using that knowledge to make the industry move forward in totality. It's just pretty graphics or a license franchise. I really want to love this game. However, it's just not for me. Many people will play this game for as long as it is around and that's great. It's just a shame it isn't ready for an even larger playerbase.
  3. Yep, you pretty much took all that experience away from your legacy by not reaching it prior to rolling multiple alts. At least you have a little time before 1.2 comes out to build up some legacy levels.
  4. I can see this feature being beneficial. I've helped people before when they need directions to a place or trying to find an NPC. I know where it is, so sometimes group a person, run over and stand by it so they can find it. Sometimes, I know exactly on the map where the place is, by pinging, I could invite to group, ping the map and still continue on my merry way. This could also help in Operations. The Ops Leader could ping spots he wants members to stand at for pulls/encounters. +1 to this suggestion!
  5. 1. Too many FPS issues for a LOT of players to have larger WZs. 2. There's already so much CC happening, multiplying that by even more players... /wrist I get what you're saying. I remember PvPing in many other games that had much larger WZ encounters and it was a blast. However, it just isn't as viable in this game as things stand now.
  6. Actually, if clicking a target, like in a large pull of mobs, it's very easy to accidentally click the chat box. And we really don't need to go into the annoyance that can cause... Personally, I do NOT play in first person view. I scroll out a good distance so I can see as much as possible around me. When mezzing, sending pet on 2nd target and then nuking a 3rd, it's very easy to be clicking in that area of the screen. I do it all the time and curse at the game each time. I completely agree that having the option to "click through" the chat box is necessary. It's not game breaking, but a pain.
  7. This game is ridiculously easy and plain to play as it is. Adding an auto attack is just ridiculous. Work out a better rotation for your skills. Obviously, you're missing something basic in your playstyle of your class.
  8. Are you serious? I mean, really, read what you just posted. Did you read it again? Now, are you able to see the flaw in your thinking? They are optional quests, some have nice rewards for completing them. Don't pick them up or turn the tracking off and when you leave the planet abandon them. Some players enjoy the challenge or have friends to do them with. I suppose you are also wondering why they have Operations at level 50...
  9. Heroic quests have "HEROIC" before the title of the quest. If you simply remove the tracking for it, it will vanish from your map markers. Or, you can simply abandon them. You can also remove the tracking for Flashpoint quests in your quest log. It's not hard. Just a couple of clicks...
  10. ^^ LOL! Love how players don't realize they are spending more than they just got. Honestly, I find it very annoying getting these mails. Nothing like being out questing and seeing a notice pop up that you got mail, getting all excited for what you got and when you finally check, it's spam. I report them all, but really, why can't companies get these spammers blocked?
  11. But... with the force, she can do anything! Why wouldn't you want her around? I mean, come on, she was also the best duelist in her class! /facepalm I love what she does as a companion for questing, but anything else... where's the duct tape? Shut that chick up!
  12. So, your OP was for what reason then? By this last post of yours, it was fun regardless. Why the crying about the loot in it? Seriously, you seem to have changed you tone after so many came here and basically told you your group was just bad... *sigh*
  13. You want great rewards for things, you have to do the harder things. Normal mode is simply for the story and getting a feel for the zone. Seriously, two hours? Something is wrong with his group make-up, ability to work together and/or ability to adapt to situations. Sounds like another casual player expecting to just buy end game gear for credits off of a vendor, cause any other manner of gearing up is too much effort.
  14. Well... Are bubbles/shields fair? Are knockbacks fair? Are grapples fair? Are stuns fair? There are counters to ever "unfair" skill. It just takes a player or a team working together to stop the opposition...
  15. But then, there'd be one less reason for people to grind out their dailies... Seriously, the repair costs in this game are just dumb. Heck, I went to Tatooine on my level 50 to help a guildmate out and after killing a few mobs for them, I had a 765c repair bill. Really? I think I took a total of 50 damage. LOL Just wait until you wipe to Soa in EV due to the bugs that can't seem to get fixed. Yeah, now that's a waste of credits!
