  1. For group PVE and easy leveling I prefer to get Salvation at level 40. This great healing skill is much better than anything else Sage have at this level. If you do not like to respec often, put every point into Seer tree until you get Salvation. Force cost reduction from Inner Strength is nice but not required before harder content anyway. And remember, with free respec available it is up to you how to distribute skill points. For PVP I strongly recommend to look at stun-bubble healer build (all key abilities are avaliable at level 38). In this case you may want to place your first skill points into Telekinetic tree to get main CC abilities faster.
  2. Actually you lose only about 12 static bonus healing if you wear DG relic instead of EWH. This is not that much. and in return you get nice burst.
  3. I have beaten Nightmare Kephess with EWH + DG combo. DG relic provides nice power boost when you need it.
  4. We are looking for a good healer to fill our main raiding team. Class and gear does not matter.
  5. And why to gimp myself at all? Alacrity gives me so many benefits: every five casts I get a whole free second of movement, every ten casts give me free GCD for Adrenal or anything else, my Healing Trance channels faster, I can spam Benevolences like machine gun, and so on. If I ever need big slow heal I can get 15k in 6 seconds with Force Potency buff. So what the point in extra 4% of Surge rating? As I have said a few posts earlier, I have tried 0% alacrity setup. It didn't work for me.
  6. As a sage healer I do not limit myself to only support role - sages can perform any role in a raid group perfectly. if you can not main heal in operations, you are doing something wrong. Here is my stats: http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/6881/sagewf.jpg Not BiS, but as you can see 9% alacrity does not impact my surge rating too much. I like to be able to cast faster, and faster casts are crucial in NiM EC. With 0% alacrity you get extra 50 healing from every Salvation critical tick, but you lose versatility and limit your movement.
  7. Good news, everyone! Recently we have started regular 16-man runs.
  8. I have tested 0% alacrity setup. It is useful and Sage healers can clear hardest bosses with it, but in situations when intensive healing is required I feel that it limits Sages healing output. While crits with "0%" build are huge and pleasant, I prefer ~9% alacrity because it just makes healing easier.
  9. A little update: we have killed 4th boss from TFB HM.
  10. "Enraged" is friendly international multi-language guild. Formed on Nightmare Lands server, we have gathered many mature players from all over Europe. Our main communication language is Russian (we also speak English and Sweden). We offer: daily raids (all content is cleared and on farm mode); fast gear progression for new members; PvP premade groups; voice chat; guild crafting; help with leveling, world bosses, datacrons etc. All classes and levels are welcome to join us. Contacts: Haykin Maita Embitu Drinkjoda Foma
  11. You can access to Operations from your fleet (Gav Daragon for Republic), or you can use Group Finder tool (GF KP runs may be very frustrating). You may want to run Eternity Vault operation first to learn PVE group coordination, it is very easy and PUG friendly. Your "crappy" War Hero gear is quite good for any current content (except HM EC).
  12. Astronomers have for the first time discovered two alien planets whirling around a pair of stars: a complete solar system with twin suns just like Tatooine.
  13. Guard lowers threat generation. In PVE tanks should use this ability on best DD in a group, because if a healer pulls aggro from a tank, he is doing something wrong. There no fast way to learn about healing capabilities. Healing up to about level 40 is very limited for every class and up to level 30 you can barely see difference between healing mechanics.
