  1. Can we please have access to Artifice Critical? It's one of the only crafting crew skills to not have a critical upgrade on the Legacy astromech droid, and not a single one of the companions for Force using classes grants the bonus as far as I'm aware.
  2. I can't even read what your problem is, and it's right there... I think. Basically, you asked to know what the destination server was before it was announced and claimed it was a bug stopping you from making characters?
  3. I lost all my names! Chow'bacca, Ham'solo, even Dorth'Vadir! This is disgusting Bioware! I'm unsubscribing 20 times if you don't take my names off whoever else was as original as me! Seriously though, I lost two, because they both had the same name as my main. I am yet to have a name conflict that wasn't caused by myself, and I've been using the name for... damn, about 12 years now.
  4. Orange crystals and purple crystals are high level colours I believe, but I know you can get a level 20 saber with an orange colour from the PvP vendor as a Sith Assassin. If you're looking for high end crystals, this thread has some really useful information.
  5. While I can't give you any specific class help (my guardian's only 27) the first thing I would say is use the keybinds for target markers. If you right click an enemy, you can set a target marker such as a red flame or a green pistol and they recently let you keybind them in options. I bind these to numpad 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and the first thing I do in a flashpoint is tell people what they mean. 'Star is <sage player>'s CC (crowd control, like Force Statis) target', 'Kill flame first' etc. If people are attacking targets in a certain order, you only have to use basic AoE (Area of Effect, hits all nearby enemies) to keep control of the others while focusing on the one they're all attacking. This is, of course, in a perfect world where people follow kill orders and let the tank go into combat first.
  6. As far as I read it's a one server > one server transfer offer at first. Site's meant to go live on tuesday going by the community post. Just a heads up, you probably won't be able to transfer to the server where you've just made a JK, at least not initially, so it might be good to wait 2 days and see where you can go instead of being spread across servers.
  7. The above post has the best response IMO. In terms of player numbers, as noted above the Harbinger is a nice populated West Coast one, I'd suggest Dalborra or Master Dar'nala if you choose to go Asia Pacific. Harbinger seems to have a decent player count most times (I play in the EU so I see it at strange times at standard pop).
  8. Can I ask what exactly you're struggling with in the game? You mention you have a lot of issues with it but don't mention anything specifically. I'm also not sure what the average fun player is. Maybe if you give a bit more information on what you're struggling with, we'd be able to give you hints etc. I'm not sure how the CSR droids can help with this one. Also, community gathering spot = Fleets.
  9. This is a really useful guide, thank you, so I'm bumping it. Also, just saw this in the 1.3 PTS patch notes found here
  10. Your friend can indeed install off your discs, but they'll need to click the 'Download client' button when they set up the free trial before they can activate the trial account. It's a failsafe Bioware put in so you couldn't start the 7 day trial then spend a load of time downloading the client. You have to at least download the launcher before you can activate. But yeah, you can install off the discs no problem
  11. Personally I want a Voss, but I'm logging on now to secure 'Lion-o' for the Jedi Guardian I plan to reroll with Cathar Edit: Taken :< Managed to get Lion'o though I'm the coolest guy on the internet
  12. The ones that are playing are on servers that are too light for anyone to notice. They opened too many at launch, simply. Free transfers from lights to standards in 1.3 should resolve it. Then we can come here and complain about something new and interesting, like 'TOO LITTLE TOO LATE BIOWARE' or 'That Esh-kha looked at me funny, I'm unsubbing'.
  13. Welcome to the forums, where 2% of the playerbase discuss how every single player thinks the game is dying and 98% are too busy playing to post, read or care!
  14. You realise this is also the argument about WoW, but it's not 'Dying' either and it's last content release was, what, before SWTOR came out? The forums are full of people crying OH GOD THE GAME IS DEAD but it's not true and the forums are full of only people who think that, so everything thread is discussing how the game is dying because everyone talks to each other and assumes it is. It's not. Stop it.
