Well 1v1 situations should be taken under consideration before Devs allow stunlock to death mechanism appear in their game.
And in pvp 1v1 happen a lot, so whether your opinion that SWToR isn't based on 1v1 situations is true or not. Those situation accur often and Devs failed to accept, obviously, that this patch will spoil even further 1v1 experiences for many. They know, not being able to control your character till you die, isn't fun, so why boost that in this patch?
