  1. Thanks all, looks like I'm off to Taris for some grinding.
  2. Does anyone know where to get heavy chest armor with mod slots (ya' know, orange or purple) that is green on the Republic side? The lower the level the better as I really don't want to wait till 50 to get it. Thanks!
  3. So are Cathar yeah or ney for this update? I've seen stuff that said yes, but It's not mentioned in other areas (I'm not on the PST).
  4. I lost 2, but it was Blackwolf and Bloodwolf so I kinda saw it coming from a mile away. I keep most of my names fairly unique so I wasn't worried about the rest. Besides, just a game anyhow and I'll have fun no mater the names.
  5. So I've browsed around the forums a lot, reading all the threads about the various color crystals and what people want and demand, and I think I've hit on a wonderful solution that could please most of the people (since someone will always complain about it). Most people seem to complain about the availability and shade of the various crystals. While I admit ignorance to the amount of coding needed to do things in this game, it has struck me as strange that certain colors are readily creatable, while others are simply untouchable. I understand the blue, green, and red being dirt common, those are the iconic colors for crying out loud. Yellow makes for a nice rare color gathered by quest rather then farming. But then, orange crystals can be salvaged all over the place, but not crafted till you're in your 40's. And purple isn't even touchable till end game salvage, yet Sith apprentices are swinging them around all day. Then you have the black vs white core blades, which was cool for launch and specials, but unless you like republic blue or empire red, you can't get another color unless you PvP a lot (and it looks like, are good at it). Even then, it would only be for show as the stat is useless unless you PvP. All that said, y'all recently added in a fashion tab to our character sheet. I love it! I love being able to quickly show or hide my helmet and match the color of my armor so I don't look like the Hobo Adventurer (though could we get it added to our companion, I want to color match their stuff too). Not much is done yet with that tab, so here is my idea to make more use of that tab and expand the crystal range. First suggestion you've no doubt heard a lot of, add in schematics for orange and purple endurance and crit crystals for artificers. I would say make them findable via treasure hunting quests so they still retain a (probably only slight) feeling of rarity. Keep the power recipes as rare drops, but expand it to all level ranges. The hard part for that one is the mats. Since treasure hunting already has three (or four for grade six) crystals that can hit per quest, it might be a bit much for a random chance at four uncommon, and one rare type of crystal per quest. I'd say maybe make the treasure hunt color crystal generic to all three types, or add it a 'color gemstone' quest, but I don't know. Don't really have any good ideas to solve that. You can still leave colors outside of the primary and secondaries on the wheel (ie, magenta and white) as very rare drops or special events. Now, in the fashion tab, you could, to add more variety, add in a selector that allows you to change the shade of the color, light, normal, or dark versions. With my limited knowledge of coding, I don't think a shade change would be too hard to implement and it would give a massive range of choices for us players. You could even set up a button to let us choose if we have a black or white core to the blade (I personally love the look of the black core blades) expanding color crystal to have 6 different choices each, making almost everyone happy (I hope). And there was my crackpot idea! Thanks for reading my rambling. If it would require a lot more work then it's worth to do, that's no problem. Like I said, I'm no coder so I don't know the amount of work that goes into this stuff, though I tried to keep my idea in the 'mostly already there' level to make it more workable.
