  1. Hello all, About a year ago i became dis-enchanted with my guild and started to look into other guilds, but because of the friendships that were forged, i did not follow thru. But again i am getting to a point where my patience is wearing thin with my guild. My biiggest complaint is lack of raiding activity. It seems that there are clicks that constantly do all the raiding and offer no room for adding other players. Me and another guild mate have numurous times tried getting a steady friday or saturday night raid going, but with no luck. My question is, are there Friday or saturday late- night raids that are currently looking for two almost desparate players looking for a good time? When i mean late night, i am thinking 9:30 central time. We are primarwly Empire ranged DPS, but i have an Op healer to bring to the table.
  2. I've been there too brother! Because of the foundry I gave up healing until 55. I would say about 2/3 of the time would result in a wipe due to DPS taking to much aggro and being under geared. It's would result in me taking aggro from poor players. People rage when they have the blanket of anonymity to stand under. I would suggest forgetting PUGing and run with guildies.
  3. I've been hearing this mount that when activated makes a horn toot that resembles a clown car. I would like to know which mount it is?
  4. I too thought that the ending of the BH story was a little anticlimactic. I was expecting the ending to be as good as the assassin class, but was let down. A few more video shots with more fan fare would of been nice. I'm just sayin.
  5. I do not have any empirical evidence that proves this, but my hypothesis is that players that are in this range are either F2P or new to game and have no idea what is going on. I have suffered like you as a healer and have given up this coveted roll until I reached level 55. At this point the “Noobs” have been scolded so many times that they eventually fall in-line and start playing like viable players. We all know what it is like to be “Noobs”. We do not pick the correct gear, or any gear at all. We do not know our abilities and the mechanics of the flashpoint. The healer then needs to work twice or even if possible three times as hard. For instance; the flashpoint The Foundry was the breaking point for me to give up healing. I must have wiped 15 times in a group before I gave up. I have a BH healer and he kept overheating casting large heals to poorly geared tanks and dps. The foundry now is not a problem for me. I have adequate gear and abilities, along with the players as well. Healing is a lot more enjoyable now.
  6. I too have found that healing is very difficult for BH. I've given up on FP, especially the foundry, because of the difficulty of healing. It seems I can not spam healing abilities fast enough for the lower lvl players. Doing so causes me to overheat, then a wipe is surely in the future. What ticks me off is that it was relatively easy at first. Then I started The Foundry and the poop hit the fan during the HK battle. I really think Bioware should of progressed the BH healing aspect a lot better. Knowing rotations was not even needed before that FP, then all the sudden it is dropped in your lap. Needless to say I became very unhappy by playing bounty hunter. I am just finishing the storyline and abandoning my aspirations of becoming a viable healer. I will say that soloing is fun. It is a challenge and I do die quite often. I can solo the game without some A-hole yelling at me that I suck.
  7. Hey, thanks for the advice and the guide. I am not sure what you mean by template? When I started SWTOR, I started as a DPS assassin. I was a complete noob to mmo's and a lot intimidated by the group aspect. I did not start to do FP until after 50. That was the first time I did The Foundry. I've never wiped during that FP during HM, so I thought why should I wipe as a lower lvl character. Wow was I wrong. Tonight I am going to run another DPS that I started a long time ago through the foundry and see how we'll it goes. I hope it goes poorly, just to ease my broken spirit. Hehe
  8. As the title implies, I am a new to healing and new to the BH class. I am now level 41 and I am still not able to finish The Foundry FP. My gear is all up to date since I have multiple toons that can make all my armor, mods, enhancement, and crystals. I seem to be having trouble with two aspects of the game: over heating and keeping lower lvl players healed. The two problems are at times the same. I constantly have to do big heals, which in turn increases my heat. Then before I know it, I'm over heated. I purge heat and then back to big heals. Then a wipe is surely in my future. Now back to my gear. I have been trying different configurations. I tried having my crit at 20%,25%, and 26% with no difference. I've also increased and decreased accuracy and alacricity. The alacricity only increased my heat rate. I am getting very frustrated and almost given up. Before I do that, is there anyone that can give me some advice? Other players have said that a good tank makes a difference. I have had a few awesome tanks, but when that happens, there is surely one or two DPS that attempt it at lvl 35 and/ or under geared.
  9. The whole scenario went over like a fart in an elevator. I actually was lmaof.
  10. Haha! I like that metaphor. Then it's apparent that I'm a PUGho then:eek:
  11. That's a little harsh don't you think? I might have reacted too quickly and someone might have pointed this out, but this is a game. You take the risk of encountering less experienced players every time you use group finder or team up with someone you don't know. If perfection is what you desire, join or create a guild.
  12. The title of this gives it away. I am not hip to all the acronyms to this game. Is there a thread that has them for SWTOR?
