  1. I have the same thing dated 6.12.13 Perhaps a yellow name would be kind enough to reveal what this means?
  2. So does that mean the second sub appreciation gift is still coming towards the end of the month?
  3. I suppose it's better than nothing; it definitely feels like a last minute card with some cash stuffed in it rather than an actual meaningful gesture. It's also extremely clear that they missed the core of the subscriber unrest. It wasn't, "gee won't don't you give us free stuff," it was that nearly every single item added since f2p launch has been cartel market related. So throwing us some of your (free to you) coins, and then charging us for the second part (never charged a friend a fee to unwrap a gift), really doesn't address the unrest.
  4. Reserve bandwidth has been around far longer than windows 8. It goes back at least to XP. I don't see how this would improve latency, it doesn't make information actually travel faster, it seems for of a fix for people with lower bandwidth who need to squeeze out every bit.
  5. Once we grind out these rewards are they fully available to our characters? Or do we have to then pay credits/cartel coins to "unlock" the rewards we just earned (like the legacy system).
  6. Mindlessly repeating a small pool of old content is the only way to gain rep? Why? Are people at bioware/ea really sitting around a table thinking this is what players want? Instead give us a multitude of options. Perhaps these groups need items crafted for them. Treasure hunts across the landscape to find artifacts. Thinning out populations of enemy mobs. 100% completion of planet map/quests. Pvp areas/arenas. There are a ton of options for making this an interesting addition to the game, but instead its like you sat around thinking of the most boring way to implement rep.
  7. If the rollbacks were due to official action, then why would they be "investigating" reports of rollbacks?
  8. Oh the irony is powerful with this one.
  9. They are nickel and diming in the sense that they are eliminating an expense and passing it onto the customer. Previously Bioware pretty much like every other reputable company, provided a free line to take care of the customers that keep them in business. Now Bioware has decided that keeping their paying customers happy is less of a priority. Sure if you really want support you can get it, but now you have to pay for "inconveniencing" them. As others have stated, cs responses by email tend to have in their copy past answer, an insistence that you have to call them in order for them to do their jobs. Now that phone support has a cost barrier in addition to the already existing time barrier (expect to spend several hours on the phone). This seems an obvious attempt to discourage requests for support, even further reducing their cs expenses, but shortsighted as it's going to drive away customers.
  10. My December coins are now 26 days late. I've now been told by two cs agents that there is a known issue with some people not receiving their monthly allotments, and there is a fix in the works but no eta. The second cs agent awarded me 250 coins for the inconvenience. It would be nice if someone could offer an update on this.
  11. Just be glad you even get the coins, many of us are still waiting for them. Ops and warzones are pretty much it though.
  12. Sometimes support responds within 24 hour, sometimes never. However even when they do respond it tends to be a cut and paste answer, that often has absolutely nothing to do with your ticket. Of course you could call the phone line and sit on hold for hours, only to talk to someone who doesn't know enough about the game to offer support. Going back to UO and WAR, EA's idea of cs and support has always been terrible, but they seem to have sunk to new lows since Swtor's launch.
  13. I've a few concerns with the game's future, and some more recent issues like p2win and life day items in the cartel market, but I'm still trying to be hopeful. However I've now spent a week trying by emails, and 2 days by phone trying to get an issue resolved to no avail. I keep getting the run around or cs drones who clearly aren't familiar enough with the product, to actually offer support. Twice now I've sat through an hour plus on hold, just to be told I have to talk to someone else, and transferred to a line that never gets answered. The lack of cs in this game is very near to pushing me away. I'm not quite ready to unsubscribe, but I'm very close.
  14. An update- Support said my coins would be added after maintenance, still don't have them. Off to email them again
  15. I have the same issue and sent off an email to support. In their response they said that time cards not returning coins is a known issue and will be corrected in the upcoming maintenance.
