So the title might seem odd. "If you dont know how to play your merc, then you are dumb" I get it. But check it out, I have been gone from the game for over a year due to some military discharge stuff, and moving back from Germany to the states. I left a level 46 merc. When I came back (as a sub) I tried playing him and have noticed things have changed. When I left we were still shooting tracer missles out of our asses over and over and over and over lol. So, I got a build off of Noxxic, (cant think of the name right now, but I am all in on the tree with tracer missle). Can someone give me the breakdown of mechanics, and how I should be going about DPS'ing? Also which companion I would be best off using? (Mako is so hot. Just saying) I have tried jumping into some other classes, but just can't seem to stick to them. Got a SI to level 17, SA to 18, sniper to 12, and mara to 12. I want to play my merc lol. Any input is appreciated!

Im assuming tank spec? I have been enjoying my level 16 assassin. I have a level 14 shadow, but I just hate the republic side. Reminds me of the alliance lol.

for you level 50's, are you happy overall with your gunslinger? Or do you find yourself thinking "Man, I wish I would have made this guy a ____________ instead of a gunslinger!" Gimme some input please

as a new apprentice sith assassin (level 11 lol) I wouldn't mind see'ing a basic rotation to use. I spam my auto-attack alot, and maybe thats bad?

So I have been eyeing the assassin class, and after reading the forums everything seems split in opinions. So I have a few questions. (Keep in mind I did NOT play a rogue in WoW, and I am not looking for the assassin to be like one necessarily) 1) Can Sin's actually tank? If so, as viably as other tanks? 2) Leveling wise, are they pretty quick to tear through quests and mobs? 3) How does the DPS stack up to other DPS AC's? If its noticably lower, what do we have, utility wise, to make up for the DPS difference? 4) In what ways do Sin's shine? 5) What are the downfalls of the assassin? 6) Why would you pick this class over other classes? (or why would you pick other classes over assassin?) I appreciate any info you guys care to share Cheers!

So I just got Blizz, and i know he is a tank. I have tried giong heal spec with other companions and just felt like it was way under-par compared to arsenal spec + Mako. So how would things go as Bodyguard spec + Blizz?

So it sounds like a gunslinger is gonna be a little bit more skill priority and not rotation? So more to do and look at? That sounds more like my kind of play.

First off, I have a level 37 mercenary that i kind of got bored of. I hate having 2 blasters and spamming missles all the time. Why do I have 2 blasters if I primarily use missles? Its irritating. So I was thinking either rolling gunslinger or commando. and I have a few questions 1) Do gunslingers actually use their blasters, or are they for show as well? (same for commando and their mini-gun, which sounds freakin awesome) 2) Which fares better in PvP generally? 3) How well do commando's heal? 4) which would be easier to solo (and by easier, I mean faster.) 5) which one looks cooler in your opinion

oh wow. My Khem Val was in battle stance, instead of the threat generating stance. He was -25% threat instead of +100% -_- FML
