  1. Well in my opinion this still shouldn't mean giving up. It's not so much of a difference if it's 1 on 4 or 1 on 1, either way, you should try your best. Being outnumbered isn't a good enough reason to give up. If I lose, then a lose but at least I went down fighting. And it wouldn't be that much of a time loss either. Maybe I would get killed in seconds but you don't know until you try and maybe winning is still possible by some miracle. Winning is always possible, so it may be unlikely but not impossible. So, I'm not saying that you're wrong, you may think what you want. But that's a losing mentality. "Don't judge a book by its cover". As for this response, I see your point. It might just be better to leave this command because if the players are afk, then they might as well be dead. So, I understand that stucking is less bad than not playing but playing would be the best option. But in theory, they could implement some kind of afk timer. Gsf has one that's ok, so it could be something like that.
  2. Well, maybe not those exact numbers. We can tone it down a bit. But I don't think there should be no punishment. "/stuck" is not something players should rely on just to move to the next match. If you're actually stuck, type it. But if you just want to die, the kill command should not be abused. So, I do believe we should do something more than the current punishment. So, I still stand by updating the punishment but, realistically my original words may be a bit excessive. So, we should at least work on something. But maybe if they adjusted that command in PvP to how it's like on planets. If /stuck just moved you somewhere else like how it normally does, that could help people that are actually stuck. That's how it usually works when you're not in combat. But in combat it kills you. So, perhaps if they got rid of the self-killing mechanism and made it something that actually unstucks you, that might be better. The only problem is the part where it autokills your player. That's what is overused in PvP. The point is to actually fight other players, not /stuck and kill yourself. Players should actually have to fight. Of course, this is easier said than done but it's a problem that should be addressed. It'd be better to do something about quitters trying to avoid fighting. For example, if /stuck moved you to the spawn, then you wouldn't be stuck but, that could be bad because it can be used to run away. But another example could be moving the player to their last location before they got stuck. Unstucking a player could be done without death.
  3. Well this is a late response but true that. I really really DISLIKE quitters. It sucks being on a team that loses the 1st round and the suicides the next round and loses it for you. It's even WORSE when they quit earlier. I've been on teams that don't even wait the long to quit. They just suicide after looking at the other team. 3 vs 4? Suicide low IR? Suicide. Unbalanced roles? Suicide. Some of my teams gave up before the fight even started. And they should be penalized!!!!! How do you know if it's a lose without trying? YOU DON'T! Just a little effort and maybe we could have won. Quitting is a certain loss. We should at least put up a fight. I NEVER ever suicided in a match before and I never will. If I'm gonna lose, I'll at least make them work for it. I'm not gonna give away free wins if they don't work for it. Win or lose, I'll do my best and give them some resistance. Because this is PvP, even the worst player should do better than a NPC or a training dummy. So, against me, wins are not a hand out . The other team should have to earn their wins I hate quitters even more than I hate losers. Given the choice, I'd take a less talented player who tries over the best player who gives up. Because a team is more than just 1 man. It's a contribution from everyone. We are only as strong as our weaknest links so if 1 man quits, we all suffer. That's why you don't see anyone winning 1 vs 4. A team needs everyone to do their part. So, if anyone gives up we all lose because of his decision. So, I agree with you. Players that use the Suicide command need to be punished. They absolutely need a no-que time I'd kick them for a day to a week depending on how early they quit. And this goes for all of their characters. An entire legacy que block. And like you said, don't let them play anything else on groupfinder either. A time out is only the start of a fitting punishment. Id also implemente a depletion on credits and Valor rank. Sadly quitters aren't punished enough. So, that's just my opinion on the matter. I agree that players should be punished for suicide in pvp. But again, it's not our decision so we can't do much about it.
  4. There are dozens of stronghold idea threads so I was thinking which one to post on but this seems like the most recent. So I'll go with this one. I'm up for any stronghold because I love the concept of having houses across the galaxy. The more bases we have the better. So I'm up for any idea but in my post I'll explain a few one's I'd like to see the MOST. But first let's review the 11 strongholds we already have: Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Yavin 4, Manaan, Umbara, Rishi, Alderaan, Carrik Station and Vaikin Station. Anyway my list is: 1. Hoth. I think we need a snowy/icy planet stronghold. And it's not exactly Alderaan because that wasn't like Hoth. That had a palace, some snow and lots of grass. Hoth would be completely whited out. So I don't really consider the Alderaan palace to be a snow stronghold. Plus I don't think Hoth would be a palace realistically. Alderaan was all about that hierarchy. I picture Hoth to be more of a base. Maybe like an abandoned bunker like echo base. So I think they would be 2 completely different ideas. Hoth wouldn't be just another snow stronghold. Plus Hoth is a historic Star Wars planet. So it's special not just another useless planet but, Hoth would actually be important. So I definitely think we need a Hoth Stronghold. 3. Zakuul. From what I heard the Zakuul Palace stronghold was in the works. So I definitely think they should finish this one up. Considering they are still working on it, which isn't likely. There's been numerous swtor threads about a Zakuul stronghold and I have other sources too (ex: a lot of reddit post about it, etc). So I could be mistaken but I thought they started to make one. Additionally it wouldn't be brand new because they have stuff to work from. The Zakuul palace could be like Kayilo's apartment from chapter 10 Anarchy in Paradise. Or if they wanted to make it bigger they could use Vaylin's palace from chapter 6 The Dragons Maw. So they don't have to start from scratch but, I think they should make something like that for us players. A Zakuul stronghold. 3. Asteroid Lot My last idea is an Asteroid stronghold. This wouldn't be too far fetched because previous Star Wars games had Asteroid houses. It would be something like the Asteroid Lot from Clone Wars Adventures. If you don't know what I mean here's a link... https://cwa.fandom.com/wiki/Asteroid_Lot So it could be a base on/inside of an asteroid. These are just 3 ideas for new strongholds. I'm up for anything new but these are just some more possibilities to work with.
  5. I'm back! I already made my initial post on page 1 of this thread but I've been constantly completing the required objectives to get the rewards. Although this isn't necessary as I did them 1nce already. Here are some of the "Searching for Allies" quests (NOT REQUIRED) https://i.postimg.cc/tTFn2BPf/20220103140707-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/DwWZxC3g/20220106130536-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/GhthpMtC/20220112164356-1.jpg Here are some more heroic weeklies: https://i.postimg.cc/c4n2TY53/20220109175432-1.jpg (VOSS) https://i.postimg.cc/0yG31vv2/20220109181441-1.jpg (DEFENDING VOSS NOT REQUIRED) https://i.postimg.cc/d3THHPnF/20220112163501-1.jpg (TATOOINE) https://i.postimg.cc/nhZxD0cr/20220115175559-1.jpg (TARIS) https://i.postimg.cc/5NWdhnzg/20220115182123-1.jpg (TATOONIE 2) https://i.postimg.cc/4xwDhGS2/20220115184341-1.jpg (BELSAVIS) Flashpoint: https://i.postimg.cc/y8fG8PDw/20220106155507-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/yxXQ4Xqp/20220114123931-1.jpg PVP: https://i.postimg.cc/1zkJ8YsY/20220106165245-1.jpg Lastly my gear of 323. I've been hearing theories that say the average IR needs to be 322 not just the number on the character sheet. So I didn't take that chance. This picture is 1 above the required number. https://i.postimg.cc/sfc4z2QL/20220115185410-1.jpg That's all for me gl if you're still working on it.
  6. The armor? Ok. The companion? DEFINITLEY! Personally I'm up for every additional companion. I can never have enough companions. As a leader, the more followers we have the better. The alliance grows stronger with every additional body. So I never grow tired of collecting more companions. A skytrooper comp would be cool. And not that hard to add. Like with HK, it could be a simple as we recovered the systematics from the eternal empire. So then we gather the parts and build one. The story line would be basic enough. I'm absolutely up for this. As are many other people...
  7. Wow this wasn't said yet? Ancient Threat. He one shots me every time. And you can't even cause him damage. Plus it's a complex process to summon him.
  8. For a game, swtor did make me think a lot. There were times I'd escape the conversation, log off and stop playing for weeks. On such occasions I would research my choices and weigh in the pros and cons of every action. This is a very in depth game. I felt a variety of emotions during my time here. But I did make it. Where I am now is a 8 class legendary player subscriber that has all my characters caught up to the most recent point. So I've been through it all so I know the hard feeling of making these difficult choices. Now to answer the question some of the hardest choices I made were: 1. Not saving Jaxo on the trooper story. I would have loved to be a better hero and save both Jaxo and the innocent people that where in danger but I was forced to choose. I weighed in the decision and brought all of my companions there to see what they had to say. And although MX did have a point, that she (a special agent) was more valuable than a bunch of nobodies, I couldn't leave the few hundred people there to die. Who knows? For all we know they could have been the next big deal. It would be wrong to deny there future for the sake of 1 life. We don't know much about who we saved but they could have been important lives. But Jaxo was more important! Although this reason helped my decision, this wasn't why I decided to leave her to die and save the hundreds of people. Another reason that helped my decision was pure numbers. Of course I'd save 100's of lives over one. But I do agree that Jaxo's live was more important. Soldiers save countless lives thorough there career. Soldiers defend the republic and fight off the evil empire. Statistically speaking Jaxo probably would have been more valuable. But my character is pure LS, I was compelled to save more lives, not just 1. And this wasn't easy for me to decide. I did like Jaxo. I had deep hopes of romancing her but as a trooper I couldn't let my feelings get in the way of the mission. But enough of these small reasons why I chose to save the more people over just her. What really got me was thinking ahead. I knew the future of what was going to happen. I read somewhere that if you do save Jaxo she gets ptsd and goes insane. Which is logical because this was a dark time. Realistically if someone saved you over a thousand of other people you should feel guilty about it and maybe even go crazy. So even if you do save her, she has no bright future. Either way she leaves the story. So my biggest reason for letting her go was to let her die with dignity. She was a soldier so sometimes the job requires you to give your life for your cause. I chose not to save her because of the person she becomes. I couldn't let her suffer any longer so I let her go as a hero. Had I not known that she'd go crazy, I may have been more open minded about saving her. Maybe we could have been together but I knew how she'd react. I wanted her to die the way she did. In service of the republic. I probably would have chose to save the hundreds over her anyway, if I wasn't aware of what would happen for reasons listed above but with the knowledge of the future, that's why I chose the right decision. I still miss her but I don't regret it. It I knew I did the right thing. 2. Letting Torian die at the hands of Vaylin in kotet. I wish I could have saved Vette and Torian but that wasn't an option. I was forced to choose 1 and I choose Vette. Torian was a true mando. He knew his day would come. He was even willing to let the other mandos go in the Darvanes chapter of kotfe. Mandalorian are warriors. They know what it's like to be at war. Given the choice to save Torian or Vette, I'd have to choose Vette because she needs the help more. Torian probably would have been more useful to the alliance but he was more capable of fighting the skytroopers off. Realistically I would have came back for him after but he was captured then killed before us. At least he died honorably. Unlike Torian, Vette wasn't planning on dying that way. She was a tomb looter, then she worked with Gault. Neither of her jobs were "fight to the death" jobs. With Torian, he was a mando. Many mandos fell in battle. It wouldn't be an uncommon way to go for someone of his lifestyle. So in conclusion I think it was a more noble choice to save Vette 1st. 3. Deciding who to side with at Iokath. The empire or the republic. This choice I made depending on faction. All my empire characters chose empire. All my republic characters chose republic. It was pretty clear what I was going to choose but it wasn't easy. In kotet we made a deal with the empire 1st! So it wasn't easy breaking our word and choosing the republic over the allies we made 1st. But it had to be done for my characters. All of my characters are patriotic so we'd never pick the other side. But that doesn't mean I wanted to pick our side. The alliance was made up of both sides working together. I think it send more of an inspiring message to work together and be neither rep or emp. But we couldn't stay neutral so out of patriotisms, my characters reverted back to their original loyalties. Also later on when we had to dispatch the alliance. I know it's not exactly this choice but similar. All my characters chose to go back into their factions. These were my 3 toughest choices. All three of these are based upon my initial playthrough. My 1st response to chose either or. But all of these 3 moments are self conflicting. More often than not, I'd go with the choice I mentioned above but all 3 of these choices were worthy of a replay. To see how things play out. They were all tough decisions. These decisions made me split how I'd play for the classes. I've experienced both sides of these choices. But this question was answered for my main. If I only could choose once. Also I'm doing this off of memory. I made these choices a long time ago so my details may be off a bit. But for the most part I think the general idea is accurate. This answer shouldn't be too far off.
  9. Sorry if I got any of you in the pictures. But it wouldn't have been proof if I edited anything out. For evidence the pictures need to be legit. Editing anything would falsify my evidence. So to make it true, I couldn't have changed anything. Don't want to do anything that could get in the way of receiving the rewards.
  10. In this post I will show you my evidence screenshots of me completing all of the required objectives. 1st I'd like to show an evidence picture of my characters. Because this proves that this is indeed my legacy. If they didn't believe these were my characters (temporary characters)., they could trace it back to my actual server and check the character with my name on it. This proves that these characters are linked to my actual characters on the real servers. https://imgur.com/a/NaeNr0h Now that that's settled here's the actual achievements that prove I did everything that was told: Log into the pts https://imgur.com/a/rdhlyoe Complete acts 1-3 of any class story https://imgur.com/a/ZbWTkXw https://imgur.com/a/4Rih1TI https://imgur.com/a/idYCQ68 Complete all expansions (I did some extra) https://imgur.com/a/uUphpqL https://imgur.com/a/iIQNNvl https://imgur.com/a/otcUYr8 https://imgur.com/a/BU2dXOw https://imgur.com/a/qLnUuuy https://imgur.com/a/FvUpaBh https://imgur.com/a/1Qt7pre https://imgur.com/a/7n4EHso https://imgur.com/a/wOXM3Ll https://imgur.com/a/8NdywuL https://imgur.com/a/iCNE7xc https://i.postimg.cc/3rXDFTfd/20211226204600-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/MGqLXxLV/20211227134453-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/wvBbc2gB/20211227141508-1.jpg Complete a pvp, heroic and flashpoint weekly (I did multiple of each) https://i.postimg.cc/VkYTkmpM/20211227211659-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/s2L0mSX9/20211227225501-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/bwNCjLS9/20211227230137-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/9MT1BnsC/20211227230203-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/zXp7pW2b/20211228134318-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Vk6Rh627/20211228140510-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/xCr3qP87/20211229111741-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/vH8L1T8Q/20211230134640-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/1XvF00Ry/20211230141036-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/hvZJQSMj/20211230160022-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/bvfZtV0Q/20211230183947-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/9MRXgGBW/20211230202530-1.jpg Reached item rating 322: https://i.postimg.cc/fWdTxfLC/20211230202723-1.jpg One last picture of my legacy to prove that this is my work: https://i.postimg.cc/6qZmPQS2/20211230202823-1.jpg This should be everything. I have the story achievements, the expansion achievements, the ir 322, and the heroic, flashpoint and pvp weeklies. This covers everything mentioned.
  11. Least favorite: no opinion. I completed and liked every class story. Each was good, so I don't really dislike any of them. I thought every class story was good. Favorite: Jedi Knight, by far. This was my first class story, then I completed the next 7. And Jedi Knight always remained my favorite out of the 8 classes. All 8 class stories were good but I found Jedi Knight to be the best! Reasoning: It's the most traditional. Every single Star Wars movie was about Jedi. Multiple Jedi characters were in every movie. From Anakin, to Luke to Rey. Of the nine movies that are officially part of the Star Wars Sega, each stared a Jedi as the main character. And in KOTOR and KOTOR2 , Revan and Metra were both Jedi. Even looking into the spin offs Solo and Rouge One both had Sith. Maul and Vader. So in every single Star Wars film there is the force. So that's why I like the force classes better than the soldier-ish types of classes. Especially Jedi Knight, like the movies. Secondly the Jedi Knight story faces the hardest villain. Around act 3 he faces the emperor, who later becomes the villain from Ziost, to Zakuul to Odesson. And even Onslaught's newest story arch foreshadows him. So he's a worthy foe. In every other story the villain isn't nearly as powerful as the Emperor. We have lesser characters like Baras, Zash, The 1st Son, Jades, the Voidwolf and General R. Baras is out of shape. Zash is old. The 1st Son didn't even know it. Etc. Realistically these flaws would cause these villain's downfall way to quick. Where as the Emperor had the rank and power that the other villains didn't. He could destroy worlds just by ritual. So in conclusion I liked how the Jedi Knight had a worthy villain more than the others did. These are why I found Jedi Knight to be the best in my opinion and my reasons for it. All 8 stories are good but I like JK the best.
  12. In my opinion I find Lokin to be the most cool companion. Why? For 1 reason he's a rakghoul, which is cool to have as a companion. Most other raks are hostile so his species (when transformed) is unique. Definitely one of the rarest companion races you will find in this game. Also he's hard to earn. During kotfe, you must await the rakghol event that only comes around 1nce a month. So unlike other comps you only get a limited amount of time for his alliance alert. That's my opinion and reasoning behind it
  13. I tried summoning him and got killed every time in solo. Good news: he isn't unavoidable. After losing over and over I sneaked past him. If you got your droid past the door after defeating the 2 previous bosses you can click on him, sneak behind the crates to The Callers right and jump to the escort. But then again, it's pointless. Since you summoned The Caller, the combat freezes the droid. So either way you can't progress the mission.
  14. So the only reason to do story mode would be for achievements? If i'm feeling it, I'll go for them.
