  1. You should really get your head out of the sand, WoW classic is blowing up like July 4th fireworks. Up to 35 servers all full. No sign of slowing down, where SWTOR can't say the same. No RNG bs either, you can actually research what gear you want and go get it. Not to mention, god FORBID SWTOR from actually listening to their customer base, i mean it could result in keeping and bringing back SUBS. I mean how stupid is that? Blizzard stock is going up as well. You can keep making your white knight argument until SWTOR dies on the vine for all I care. And why wouldn't you need a sub to access WoW classic? Oh, and most of the streamers are on like 2 servers, that doesn't explain why they have 35 servers, all filled to the brim, all through the day and night. Seriously, it is white knights like you, always saying how great SWTOR is in its present form, that will be the end of it. Guess what, the majority of people don't think as you. They want to play a game that they enjoy, not a Vegas, RNG slot machine, or Space Barbi for the ERP'rs.
  2. With the complete success of WoW classic, the fact that it is overshadowing even WoW retail, I think it has been proved quite successfully that people want a more group friendly, challenging game. I mean it has exploded. The number one issue I chat with retail WoW players and why they left is the same as SWTOR, they made it way to easy and solocentric. Who knows, maybe BW will take note and act on it, but i doubt it. I think right now they are up to like 35 servers all full all the time. And as trixxie said, there are addons that can make the QoL better then this game, and more are coming. This is a movement folks, something other less popular games (ie: swtor) really needs to take note of.
  3. Seriously this OP reminds me of the Australian vegan woman trying to sue her neighbor for grilling steaks and fish, and letting their kids play basketball. Entitlement is strong in this one.
  4. That crosses the line in anything. But I don't watch streamers to begin with, personally I think they are a waste of time. Never understood why someone would watch some loudmouth, idiot play a game Personally I would laugh at how pathetic someone is to spit on me in a game, as if that makes any difference to me. I guess if you RP that would be different? I just want to have a game with challenge, not so easy there is practically no way to die. I don't condemn people or try to insult them or the game because it is not my type of game (which has happened in this post btw). One games success does not devalue another game that others play. Personally I hate fanboys period. **not to mention, but there are plenty of trolls in this game as well.
  5. Did you ever think maybe some people like to invest time in endgame to acquire gear, rather then have it handed to them? Maybe feel a sense of accomplishment, rather then just entitlement? Guess not, but right now ALL their servers are full, and they need to launch new ones at 1pm, I think you underestimate the number of people that want a challenge, and a sense of accomplishment in their game play.
  6. Actually that was what kept me here. But it is wearing off quickly. I am sure I will be back in a year or so if the game is still going strong. Not that I wish any bad on the game, but the direction it is taking just hasn't held my interest, so I will keep an eye on it and see how it goes. Unlike others, I want challenge in a MMO, not easy street and dress up space barbi. But good luck all, I hope you all keep enjoying the game. **And no, I am not going to make one of those ridiculous why I quit threads lol, and no you can't have my stuff would rather keep it for later.
  7. I know you know what I am talking about, any others going to be downloading on the 26th?
  8. I agree with 1 and 4, but 2 and 3 would be a waste of time, considering you can do all of those from your GF window. But God YES I want a target dummy for the SH, that would be great.
  9. You can't say that just because a couple people have mentioned it on the forums, that that represents the players as a whole. 90% + of players in this game don't post to the forums. Not to mention, that just proves my point about BW's view on the matter. It has been brought up a couple of times, and they have not changed it. Basically, you are asking BW to change the rules for a very small minority of players that would affect the the majority as a whole. I mean feel free to keep posting about it, but I really doubt it will ever change, and I highly doubt they will implement legacy ignore. They have addressed it, and provided a kick option, as well as an ignore option. If the group is so terrible because of one player, ignore them, leave group, and wait 15 minutes to get another. I have been forced to do that a couple of times, and it solves the problem.
  10. Are you talking about the tokens for gear? If so I would use them on whatever toon you can, because in September, they will be switched out with a crappy credit swap which I doubt anyone will be happy with. Better to get the gear then to lose them to a small amount of credits.
  11. Dasty I am with you with the low tolerance for D-bags, or incompetents that just spam basic attack, or who don't bother to listen, hell I am probably worse. But GF is GF, and as I stated above, out of 30 instances of GF, I may get one that is with a jerk (not assuming you have had the same experience mind you). But in that instance, I either vote kick, try to finish the FP and then add them to ignore, or in worst case, I leave. But that is a lot different then legacy ignore, which if they added it, with the low population of this game, it would cost subs.
  12. Yes you are, just group with friends or guildies then. But if you use the GF, that is random pull, and you get what you get. Not to mention the fact, that out of all the times I have played using GF maybe....MAYBE 1 out of 30 has a jerk in it. As for the lockout issue, I didn't say that, BW did. They have never changed it in the course of the game, so I think their view on the subject is pretty clear.
  13. You pretty much nailed the issue on the head. Some people need to realize this is not a solo game, that there will be all kinds of people they meet while playing, some good, some bad. I mean there is a solution, the kick option. And that can't really be abused unless 2 or 3 people make a group and go into GF for a fourth. But that is rare.
