  1. 1: Done 2: Done 3: Done 4: Done 5: only 60. This isn't the point of the thread, me and my friend have nearly identical systems in terms of performance in a lot of other games, however, this game is an exception and I cannot run it as good as he can, I can barely run it at all at times.
  2. Any idea on what it might be? I know that my driver has been *********** up... each time I install, it uninstalls itself when I next load my PC up making it so I have to keep reinstalling each time.
  3. Windows 7 64bit ASUS GTX 560 Ti AMD Phenom II X4 (4 CPUs) 3.4GHz 8GB DDR3 RAM I get pretty bad FPS, any ideas on if it's a good/bad rig (for playing this on high?) Also, my shadows are off.
  4. Ahh I see Anyone able to actually compare the two systems and say which is better (and by how greatly?)
  5. I've already done this, but i still get harsh FPS drops..
  6. Hey, SWTOR is pretty laggy for me when I'm out in the open, when I'm in instanced zones it runs fine, but the weird thing is, my friend can run it at max and can record it on fraps at the same time and still get better FPS than me, whereas he has near the same specs as me? I'll tell you mine and his so you could compare. My rig: Windows 7 64bit ASUS GTX 560 Ti AMD Phenom II X4 (4 CPUs) 3.4GHz 8GB DDR3 RAM His Rig: Windows 7 64bit ASUS GTX 560 Ti Intel I5 Core Processor 8GB DDR3 Ram Any ideas?
  7. I didn't even know that they could either, but it's as if they just delete themselves, if I load games up without reinstalling them, they stutter and become unplayable Someone had the same problem as me who posted on the nVidia forums but got no reply so I'm stuck pretty much... I've also tried uninstalling my drivers fully and then reinstalling them but it didn't do much :/
  8. Hey, I lag in certain areas such as PVP Zones... and anywhere that has more than 15 people, otherwise my FPS is around 30-50, could you tell me which part of my system it is that's causing this? My Specs; Windows 7 64-Bit ASUS GTX 560 Ti AMD Phenom II X4 840 Processor (4 CPUs) 3.4GHz 8GB DDR3 Ram Thank you ^^ Also: I'm having A problem with my GTX 560 Ti Drivers, the problem is; Everytime I restart my Computer, the drivers uninstall themsevles and the next session, I have to reinstall them once again, could this be causing some sort of FPS lag or would it not affect it? Either way, has anyone any suggestions towards this as it's quite annoying.
  9. Or you could think of it this way; You lie to your employer = You get paid. If the oppertunity arises that the person you killed appears again, you kill him again = You get paid again. (Obviously this won't happen, but you know, if you get knee-deep in the story, YOU JUST WANT TO BELIEVE, also, it makes you feel more of a smart bounty hunter than an unreliable one, a bounty hunter who will do anything for credits.)
  10. Hmm, I have a problem similar to this (on all games) when I don't update my driver's fully, and since they don't save, I have to reinstall them everytime I load up my PC which takes around 10 minutes, if I skip installing them, every game seems to jitter and freeze quite often making them unplayable. I'm taking a wild guess and saying it's drivers.
  11. 96%...? Don't pull BS statistics out of your *** just to win your argument, it's not how it works, there are obviously 99%.
  12. I guess I'm stuck in here with you guys Well probably until the second wave tommorrow anyway (hopefully!)... Preordered on the 3rd of december hoping I'd get my EA Code, but to my suprise, nothing, I contacted customer service and asked them, they said they'd get it and contact me back ASAP... a week passes and no code... I email them again and ask if they have it... they e-mail me back 3 days later with the code... :'(
  13. I'll be honest, in the beta, there was not a quest that bored me, since every quest (apart from Bonus Quests) has a partial bit of interactive story, I would dive into the quest as if it was actually a part of the story and as if I was making an Impact, and it felt quite like it too, now sure, you have the same quests as WoW, Rift, Aion or any other MMO but to be quite honest, ToR does it like none of them, in usual MMOs it's just Accept Quest -> Do Quest -> Get Reward, and whilst this is the same, it's the interactive story that adds to it like none other, so sure, you're doing the typical MMO thing, but in a way, you're doing the typical MMO thing in an untypical way, which I find quite unique and interesting.
