  1. I'm on board with this idea. I realize having a hood up and hood down version of each item isn't as elegant a solution as a hood toggle, but the ability to toggle a hood up and down is something that's been on the back burner since before launch. I'd rather have multiple versions of each item than never have the option at all.
  2. I had a great time with the event. Loved the armor set. Very cool idea. In the future, if this sort of thing is done again, I'd really like it if the armor set was Bind on Legacy. I'm not going to get a lot of use out of it on my Jedi Knight, but my Trooper (who hasn't been made yet) would have loved it.
  3. Are there any plans to add new methods of acquiring social points or changing the social point requirements for different social levels?
  4. There is a lot I love about 1.2. -The Rakghoul Outbreak is just ridiculously awesome. I love it. I especially love the orange armor set we get from the event. Once they make social gear scale to your armor class I'll be using a few pieces of that, to be sure. -I honestly can't imagine how the interface editor could have been made any better. I didn't even want or need it and I love it. -I love the idea of the legacy system and what we've got so far. I'd like to see more than the proposed 1.3 EXP bonuses, but the specifics of that are for another post. -My MAJOR disappointment is the legacy gear.I like the gear itself, but I feel like most of it doesn't make any sense. the kits seems to be remarkably rare, and 200 daily commendations for a item that will be useful for a very short amount of time is.... It's silly. I'm also not clear on why the gear is restricted to a specific class if, considering we have 8 character slots and there are 8 stories, we seem to be meant to play one of each class. I could excuse these things if you could exchange your inheritance armor for a kit - essentially trade for gear for another alt when you're done with it... Sorry for the text block there. Love 1.2 - I was thinking about quitting for a while before 1.2 and I'll be sticking around for a while now.
  5. Yeah, I don't think you should have gotten that message. So I can only comment on that course of action, but it sounds like there was a bug somewhere in there. I'm sorry if your game thinks Lord Prave is dead, he's a cool guy. Probably my favorite "villain" in the game so far.
  6. I can get behind that. I don't think there was anything important over there before, so it seems fine.
  7. I like the idea of a legacy cargo hold. I'd be happy to lay down a reasonable amount of credits on something like that. As for everything becoming bind on legacy, I as a player LOVE the idea, but I think there might be some problems. Players might end up with a lot of hand-me-down equipment from companions and such which would, in theory, hurt the game economy. Still, I'd love it. Perhaps if you could do something on a per-item basis, like removing enhancements from equipment. You pay a certain amount of credits to make something bound to your legacy. Just a thought.
  8. I have been enjoying the Rakghoul Plague Outbreak and I look forward to more live events in the future. For future live events I'd make the following suggestions. -Perhaps instead of world bosses on a several hour timer, there could be two or three [Heroic 4+] missions. This would still encourage people to group but would be more accessible. -If future live events involve acquiring a set of equipment, perhaps that equipment could be Bind on Legacy instead of Pickup... I won't really wear my containment armor on my Jedi Knight, but my Trooper would have loved it... she's level 'not created yet' though. -It would also be nice if there was no RNG element. I know some players are having trouble getting the companion kit they'd like. Thanks for the event Bioware!
  9. It would be nice to have the option to unify the color scheme to any piece of armor, not just your chest piece. Unify colors to gloves, unify colors to boots, that sort of thing.
  10. I have loved the Rakghoul Outbreak. Thanks Bioware! Ive really enjoyed this event and I look forward to more such events in the future. As a side note, I'd be ok with this event being repeated in the future, as kind of a seasonal thing so my friends who aren't playing yet can see it someday.
  11. I'm with you man. I wish a 'plastic surgeon' option had been an option from the get go. Knowing I can change my character's appearance later makes it easier for me to feel comfortable creating a new character.... If I know I can't change it later, I hesitate for days or weeks about making a new character.
  12. I couldn't find a thread about this. Please post a link if you are aware of one.
  13. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems like the amount of time invested for social levels makes it impractical to grind social points on an alt. Additionally, I haven't heard any particularly positive feedback about the rate at which one gains social levels (mostly it seems players feel it is too slow - that doesn't mean there aren't player who disagree, it just seems they may be less vocal). I think it might encourage more players to get higher social levels if the social EXP pool was shared across one's entire legacy. Seeing as social levels don't net any gameplay advantage, just unique appearances and such, this seems like a nice compromise between difficulty to obtain and the social point system not being an unreasonable time-sink (it would, practically speaking, still take the same amount of time to reach Social 10 as social points are gained at a uniform rate across all levels), Additionally, I'd be curious about the metrics on Social Levels - what's the average level, what percentage of players are Social X, that sort of thing. What is your social level?
  14. This would be hugely appreciated. As has been mentioned, your Social level doesn't make the game easier or make you level faster, it just allows you access to some custom gear. As has also been mentioned elsewhere, gaining Social levels takes a LOT of time, it is extreamly tedious, and doesn't really reflect how social the player is. Running Esseles over and over without chatting isn't socializing, but that's what it takes to gain social levels.
  15. ...well when you put it that way! Seriously though, I guess I'm done with PvP until some changes get made. That was basically all I was doing in the game, so... hmm. I cancelled a few days ago and just resubbed to get my game time and pet... I guess once I get that I'll save my money until some meaningful changes are made.
