They closed my thread about demanding an answer about arena, only to refer me here so I could necro a few weeks expired thread well ... whatever.. here was my basic post gist... We want an answer if this game is getting arena or not, many PVPers are letting their subs expire as we want a competitive ranking system ( rated wzs are lame ). How to make arenas work in this game perfectly - Give NO rewards besides a ladder system. ( only acceptable rewards from carebears are vanity items like a title or mount, even so most pvpers do not care ) Don't bother trying to class balance for the PVE side of the game. Simply buff or unbuff certain classes like you allready do in warzones to get level 11 players up to snuff with level 49 , you can just do it on a much minor level, and tweak from there. Meaning an arena only buff, or debuff in some cases, thus never effecting pvp.

funny how when i started this thread, it was just for an answer from devs and specifically said please keep flaming out of it. guy above me obvious idiot. im not gonna go around and say i was rank 1 glad etc cause thats retarded, but i did have a few characters over 2200 and greatly enjoyed arenas. look you have to look at it from a financial stand point. this game makes more money with arena than with out it , end of story.

THE REWARD OF ARENA IS HAVING A RANKING SYSTEM. That is all people care about who do competivie pvp? Don't believe me , ever hear of a game called League of Legends? All they have is a ranking system, is a pure pvp game, and that game has 3x the amount of people playing than WoW. You lose I win GG thanks.

ez fix , make it so everyone arenas with the exact same gear, and bioware can tweak particular class stats for balance ONLY in arenas kind of like how they had that buff for level 19s in war zones fighting 50s, there you go problem solved. bioware should pay me the big bucks.

No one does, or ever has given a crap about getting gear rewards UNLESS it made them more competitive in arean. thats super easy to fix , just make expertise or whatever its called extremly vital, or just make it so everyone can only wear pvp gear in arena , or has the exactly same gear and stats for what role they want. look at that everyones happy and bioware is making more money!

by your logic and pretty much everyone else who doesnt want area ... all they have to do to make everyone happy is .... implement arenas, and dont give any rewards a ladder system, and maybe a vanity item like a mount or title , sounds like thats all the people who want arena want, and the people who dont like it should stay happy too , look bioware keeps a few hundred thousand people, or hey might even get a few more and make more money , sounds like a good financial plan to me

ill put it nice and simple, for those who are intellectually challenged here. this thread is not a debate thread, this thread isnt for we need arena now etc. it is asking for an answer on arenas in this particular game. fine this game does not have to have them, but then theyll lose a huge player base and money , up to bioware if they dont want the pvp community. anyway like i said this isnt about should we have it, if we do what should be it, i just want an answer IF WE ARE GOING TO GET IT

Is this game getting Arena or not? I see people are even going as far as trying to organize 2v2 and 4v4 etc in open world. I feel if this game does not get Arena, it is looking to lose a very large amount of pvpers, and revenue. I would just like a simple yes or no answer from a dev or some one .... please don't bother flaming my thread if you do not like arenas, that is not why I am posting this I just want to know if this game is getting it or not , thanks.

Like I said they may as well let December in today as well, with it being a Thursday, I doubt that many people will flood the servers, and that way, everyone will get their 5 days and people will be singing Biowares praises. May as well just rip it off like a band-aide, I see little purpose of getting everyone in, with only a couple of weeks left. Sure December may have a few people, but I am sure its not as many as other preorder months.

I highly doubt there is that many pre orders in December, may as well get everyone in there, instead of just having a few weeks of December left.... just my opinion.
