oops wrong window nothing to see here...

NOOO just did this quest today I liked Jaxo I think she and my trooper could have been buds you know those few hrs of downtime Garza allowed us hanging out with the girls. The worst part of this quest is the after mail I just got from Keran with the item that she knows Jaxo would have wanted me to have. I wish there was a way we could have just saved her and the other prisoners this quest is horrible for the heartstrings.

That's good to know about Quinn I really like the way he is though the professional types are always stuffy at first then more fun later (at least it seems that way with Jorgan to he was such a hard case now hes requesting others go on leave so we can have alone time lol). I am really not impressed with my smugglers romance though if they put same sex stuff in I may go with Spar over Corso shes way tougher looking and acting and doesn't shove you around like a child lol. The Vette romance sounds like fun I still don't understand the Iresso thing honestly by the time I got him it was like meh another person on my consulars ship that I had no want for. Future companions will probably be just as rushed for that class to it seems to me they want you to prefer to stay alone at least that was the only option I felt choosing since Zenith is not an option. Tharan gave me the willies from the beginning I had a feeling he was all freaky for his hologram so I mostly ignored flirt options with him. And Doc maybe over sexed and had far more ex girlfriends then I liked but coming from my sage's story line it was a breath of fresh air

Returning player here and definitely have my gripes with the romances. As my signature points out why can't my consular romance Zenith? He is much more dynamic then Iresso who you get far to late in the story line to care for. I am enjoying Aric Jorgan more then I thought I would, it took a lot of work to get him even in flirt mode but it hasn't been too bad. Doc was okay for me as well specially coming off of playing a consular who has the worst romance options in the game to me Quinn is shaping up to me to be another Aric type im going to have to work harder for him think its because I am playing an alien? I dunno I like my twi'lek sith though. And Corso what the hell man? ..seriously it was like something from freaking kindergarten (put the text in spoilers just in case someone hasn't gotten that far with the goofy country boy yet). And seriously flirt options still suck heck id even take female on female flirt options at this point because the male ones are boring. Even that Alderaan noble for my smuggler *yawn* Though I will say I did enjoy making Aric jealous with that SIS agent wish I could have taken that a little further

so coming off a bad couple of days where I didn't get much gaming in I figured no way this thread would still be going considering how "pointless" some deemed it. Needless to say I am shocked, there were some really good reads, some really odd reads and some repeats of "oh she just wants attention." Id say go back and read but this darn thread is over 50 pages long now So I repeat with a chuckle because after the week ive had getting angry just seems pointless. 1. This was tongue in cheek, I think most who took this thread seriously really did not read my whole OP even quoted it but did not see that it was not serious nor read things like "I am not an expert" And "Feel free to correct me if I am wrong" and "I do not speak for all females" but hey what ever I know I have selective read before and gone off on soap box tangents so 2. This was not to incite a gender war, I don't get why declaring I am female and talking about some misconceptions means anything like that but hey people take what they want out of what they read and until we all become borg I honestly can't expect people to understand the workings of my mind. 3. Some people are really good with the insults I have to say I laughed at some of the barbs, I know my grammar is not great, I often forget commas especially when getting long winded but definitely had to chuckle at my misspellings and other flaws pointed out by the more perfect forum posters. 4. Finally and seriously this was an attention post, any time I post on the forums its to showcase what I know or what I think I know, I honestly don't give a rat's hiney what others think of that either. If I did id be too timid to post period. I can roll with the punches so those getting all haughty over me posting this because "I am just seeking attention.." Well considering I do a pod cast I love to talk about gaming and I enjoy posting on forums yeah you pretty much summed up the attention part. So what do you want now? A cookie? I bake those to To the G-spot ladies who continued to post while I was dealing with real life issues and to all who just had fun or even talked about what you gone threw thanks. I am glad some people are having fun in this thread that is what it was meant to be about. I can just laugh at the more angry folks I think if I had posted a thread saying "I like puppies" they would have found a reason to tear that down to so I am not going to get worked up over those posts.

I definitely like my scoundrel so far sneaking up and tranquilizing mobs kicking them in the nethers the whole stealth slip in get the task done and get out is so much fun. The rogue class is one of my favorite D&D classes to.

Okay so catching up again my preference probably was stated awhile back met my boyfriend gaming and it makes things easier on us he gets my gaming habits and I his I don't think it would work for me dating someone who didn't game at least a little. Thing is he is console and I am pc mmo rpg so it works out we don't over lap much into each others games and gives us enough space where were not constantly bugging each other. as to this thread being pointless I still argue that its not, I already made several new friends male and female joined a fun group learned that there are plenty of women gaming in this game from all walks of life and its nice to read the comments even the more off the wall ones. Why does this have to turn serious? Why cant people stop trying so hard to be "Enlightened" and just relax post stuff in this thread that maybe they thought was too over the top when it comes to female gamers and get a laugh? I am really finding it hard to understand all the seriousness about things. Calling attention to my gender is not a crime last I checked nor is pointing out in a fun way some of the silly things ive seen. And if some want to talk about being uncomfortable being hit on have at it but honestly ive seen more good post from people then anyone crying about being oppressed or how horrible men are.

No mirrors on my pc but definitely catch myself using the dark screen between loads sometimes lol. I worry more about my characters appearance when I am gaming I save my preening for when I need to. I hope this thread doesnt close despite what some have tried to do this discussion is still a fun tongue in cheek poke us gals who like to game. Despite the whole "you dont need to speak up for your gender" posters those who had to turn it into their own personal soap boxes there has been some really fun responses. And getting to see there are others in this game gives me hope I used to run all ladies raids in another mmo so thanks to whoever made that suggestion to. Once a month meeting up for some fun grouping was nice even had to roll up alts on other servers but it was worth it. To those who took this thread really seriously I honestly am sorry you thought this was a serious discussion now that I have said it well over ten times that its not maybe relax have some fun and add your own "facts" or not but please dont stress out im not trying to start a new feminist movement if I was youd all know about it by now And thanks for the tip Kirameki i'll have to check that brand out I had a bad incident with Mary Kay once and since then I really avoid make up.

a woman with allergies (did I mention im a nerd?) avoids the hassle of finding make up that wont make her face look like road rash after taking it off anyway. Not really worth the hassle of putting it on when I have someone who thinks I am beautiful without it to.

currently since the only one involved in a romance is my Jedi knight I think I may make my first male character a son from that union though not sure don't feel comfy playing a male but don't think I can play another female Jk and romance doc again that just seems silly.

um the fact thing was tongue in cheek in my original post I even said I am not an authority just wanted to poke some fun at gender sterotypes. And agreed Cynomen when I don't have braids a ponytail suffices and I try to avoid wearing make up as much as possible lol.

I like adding the ette to it makes it sound cute

lol I use geekette to or just nerd for myself currently my hair is braided so that helps a lot with down time for hair styling (Plus im on a Michonne kick ala walking dead so wanted to try to get my hair looking like hers and have my first sword in hopefully the start of a budding collections of Katana's ^_^) I don't really indulge in make up unless I have a business meeting find that stuff annoying makes my skin irritated and is unneeded to me most of the time. And the only down time I have trouble balancing is that thing called sleep I need between caring for my son earning a living and gaming I sometimes manage to get some of that and make time for my significant other when hes not currently trying to unlock his next game achievement lol.
