  1. So my guildies were talking a couple raids back about how they wish PrintScrn was more reliable at taking screenshots within SWTOR. Some people have the issue some don't, the issue appears and vanishes seemingly at random and so on. But suffice to say they were tired of awesome moments not being captured when they believed they had been. So I whipped up a little App like my CrewSkill Master program. Only this one just handles screenshots. Presenting "Holocron" https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/t31/1495217_10152266929516800_643125152_o.jpg Holocron is a simple .NET form application designed to help fix a long running issue with SWTOR. Currently hitting PrintScreen seems to be a bit of a crapshoot for myself and many friends when it comes to getting screen caps from in game. Holocron fixes this problem by doing the work, instead of the game. Simply speak "Screenshot" while Holocron is running and it will capture whatever is on the screen. The UI itself acts as a thumbnail viewer for any pictures captured by Holocron. Clicking any of those thumbnails will load it into your systems default image viewer. Hopefully people find this helpful (I've included all source with this for anyone that wishes to tweak/add things) Holocron Codeplex Page Download Page
  2. I've put up a new version of CSM with some new stuff I figured people might be interested in. For anyone that doesn't know what CrewSkill Master is: A simple .NET form application for keeping track of Crew Skills in Star Wars The Old Republic. Users enter a roster of characters, and can then assign them job times based upon crew skill times from in game. This way you can easily bounce back and forth between characters and optimize your account-wide crafting/farming. When a job timer expires an audible warning will play, and if enabled a popup will appear even if the game is set on fullscreen. Completed jobs will remain on the Active jobs menu until they are manually dismissed or the program is closed. The client also remembers your roster of characters between uses with a simple text file. 1.3 Update Notes *CSM now requires Admin permission at run time. This enables several new features that are listed below. *UI has been expanded and cleaned up *Moving the volume control will now play a test ping at each interval so you have an idea of how loud the alarm will be. *NEW "Shortcuts" tabbed menu *"Shortcuts" are just buttons built into the app that allow you to launch TOR related programs. *Shortcuts include SWTOR/Teamspeak/Ventrilo/Mumble/Parsec *The first time you click any shortcut it will ask you to find the path to that file/shortcut. That path is then saved to a new settings file. The settings file is in plain text should you ever need to manually change that path. *Shortcuts have an "autolaunch" feature. If you check the box next to any shortcut. Next time you run CSM any checked program will also launch. (This is why CSM needs admin permission. Now you only have 1 UAC popup when CSM is run, not one for every program you run) *Calculator was moved into the Utility shortcut tab *Website shortcut tab has a list of common SWTOR websites. Double clicking any of these website names will load that website in your default web browser. Enjoy CSM Homepage Download Page
  3. For those unfamiliar with the project, CrewSkill Master (CSM). It is an application you can use to track crafting, or just about anything, across multiple characters. But it's not just limited to the game, for example my guild master uses it to time his naps lol. I've pushed through several updates since my last posting here. Figured I'd share. -Now includes a very basic calculator that can sit on top of the game for quick auction house math -Background graphics have been removed to make reading the pertinent information easier -The popup display when a job is over now displays the character that finished their job -Alarm now has a volume control (I had multiple guildies report people asking if they had to leave when they heard the siren thinking there was an actual emergency) Any who hope some people find this helpful https://crewskillm.codeplex.com/
  4. While it isn't pay to win, there is a nasty combo you can do with CM Bomber + Warcarrier. The same system applied when they added Gunships. If anything GS were worse given there are 2 models through CM. The 2500 FR bomber doesn't have turrets only mines. So if you get both the 5k and the CM you have the ability to do a rail loadout and a missile loadout. Which given the behavior of some matches lately becomes an amazing boon.
  5. A little program I whipped up to assist me in tracking crafting across multiple characters. The idea being to maximize effeciency/profits. It can just as easily be used to track anything else though, like a pizza in the oven, or picking up the kids from school. The program also includes a very basic calculator for quick auction house math. Hopefully it's all fairly intuitive to use, but just in case. You add character names(or whatever) to a roster list on the left. You can then click any name and assign them a job. The time you set for that job would match whatever crew task you're trying to track from in game. This will add a new job and progress bar to the active jobs. When a job is completed a fairly loud audible warning will play for about 30 seconds. A popup notification will also appear in the top left corner of the screen. When a job is completed a new button will appear letting you remove that job from the active jobs list. Roster names are stored between uses in a basic text file, while the active jobs list is cleared between uses. How do I use it? Let's say I pop on my armstech and send out 5 crew on tasks. I'd then look at which of those tasks is the longest. Tab over to CSM select my armstech from the roster, and add a new job with that task length. Then I might jump on my Bio and repeat the process. Finally swapping to some lowbie alt I'm leveling. Now I can alt away to my hearts content and know exactly when to go back to mains and send out new tasks. I currently have it in beta, so any feedback would be very appreciated. Testing on my end has proven it to be very stable and functioning as intended. But that doesn't mean I haven't missed something. I'm open to suggestions, feedback, requests. If you wish to contact me, please do so on the CodePlex site as it's rare for me to check these forums.
