  1. CZ-198 "Application" My name is Darth Carolus Magnus, Dark Lord of the Sith, destroyer of worlds, conquerer of my enemies, and the unfortunate recipient of a job application transmission that could in no way possibly be intended for me. As the Emperor's Wrath, there is no job that could possibly compare to the duties and benefits I currently have. Therefore, I am insulted to read an application that would have me answer such questions, in a pathetic attempt to prove my worth for one of these positions, like a mere slave on Korriban strives to prove their worth to be Sith. I do not need to prove my worth. Since I am in a good mood after having recent success on the world of Makeb, I will give only a warning to you, Officer Woods, to be careful to whom you send your condescending application transmissions to. That being said, my power constantly grows as I defeat my foes, and I am actively searching for the next step in my journey to being the most powerful creature in the galaxy. Therefore, I know not to pass up any opportunities to broaden my power and sharpen my skills, no matter how trivial it may seem. So, Officer Woods, if you would like to have the honor of having the most powerful Sith warrior in the galaxy on your squad, I would find time amidst my schedule of slaughtering the Empire's enemies to work with your company. Let me emphasize that I will be working with you, not for you. I work for the Emperor alone. We both know I will be an asset to your team. To say that I would not be an asset would be to say that you do not agree with the right-hand man of the Emperor. You do not want to witness the Wrath of the Emperor. I will be awaiting your transmission letting me know when my assistance is needed. Darth Carolus Magnus, Ph.D.
  2. Well part of the reason I would like this change is cosmetic. I rarely do daily quests, so at level 50, when the majority of my time is spent in groups doing PvE, I never get to use my heroic moment and therefore never get to use my awesome legacy abilities. The legacy abilities themselves all have a 10 minute cooldown as well. So in one heroic moment duration, you could only use each of your legacy abilites one time. Do you think it is still overpowered if everyone in a group where allowed to use each of their legacy abilities one time during a fight? I just feel like at level 50 I never get to use the abilities I worked so hard to get, and I wish there was a way to allow me to use all my legacy ability unlocks.
  3. Now I understand that using heroic moments in PvP might be OP, regardless of the long cooldown. However, I think being able to use heroic moment abilities in PvE wouldnt be OP at all. I don't think getting to use your legacies abilities once every 15-20min isn't anything game breaking.
  4. Force crush doesn't do even close to 3k damage. And regardless its damage is done over about 4 seconds. You're just looking for things to complain about now.
  5. Well the issue is that for rage specced Juggs Smash is really their only source of dps. Mauraders have other methods of dishing out lots of damage, but aside from smash a Jugg really cant put out good dps with their other abilities.
  6. As the expansion draws near, it makes me wonder... Were the initial storylines TOO epic? For example, let's take the Jedi Knight killing the emperor. That's awesome and all, but how can that be topped in future expansions. How is Bioware going to top the stories they have already started? Another example, the SW storyline is all about coming to power. By the end you're basically the fiercest sith in the galaxy. Well now what? Are the SW just going to roam the galaxy being a boss? In future storyline expansions, are the smugglers going to do nothing but run their criminal empire and get fabulously wealthy? Just food for thought. I'm not much of a creative mind, so I just wanted to hear what others thought how the storylines would continue from here.
  7. Awesome video! And the rest of your videos are equally awesome! Keep it up!!
  8. I disagree. I think fall damage is an essential part of MMOs. It adds a whole new aspect to combat. For example, when dueling on a ledge or cliff, you have to avoid facing the edge in order to avoid being knocked off, or vice versa one can attempt to knock another player/NPC off a cliff in order to help themselves out. EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot how awesome the roll is when you fall a long way. A great addition.
  9. Couldn't agree more. Glad you made this.
  10. At first, I wanted to go light side on my warrior. But as I started to do so, it just felt funny. I mean, how can you follow the light side and then have "Channel Hatred" as your health-restoring ability.
  11. Definitely worth the money. I'm here for the long haul. Can't wait until the whiners leave once their 30 days is up... then again it took the WoW whiners 6 years before they finally began to leave...
  12. He wasn't talking about games like Aion and Rift, he was talking about Skyrim and how you can't compare that kind of single player RPG to an MMO. Yes, MMOs like Aion and Rift have better graphics, but they have plenty of things that SWTOR doesn't. I got to about level 5 in Aion and felt like I was leveling an alt in WoW and got bored. SWTOR was different, and the story brought me in. It's story did more for me than the fancy graphics of Aion or Rift.
  13. I don't even think making comparisons between SW:TOR and WoW graphics is fair. Obviously BioWare put more focus into things like voice acting. I would take having the kind of story and voice-acted quests over slightly more appealing graphics any day.
  14. No, of course not. I just feel that the majority of posts in the forums are negative, and I just wanted to hear from other players who are also having a good time.
