  1. I've certainly enjoyed my time with this guild. If you're a working adult looking to take part in endgame raiding without throwing away all your free time, this is definitely a good guild for you.
  2. You get knocked back 3 times in a row in PvE and scream that Resolve is broken.
  3. Currently the bolster is simply a buff that is calculated based on the stats and item rating of the gear you're wearing. Clearly, this is causing a lot of edge cases where wearing odd gear is resulting in abnormal stat gains. I believe a different approach is necessary. In order to prevent abuse of the system, I believe the system needs to temporarily replace lower level mods with the appropriate level mod the bolster is intended to bolster to. To account for augments, the bolster target should equivalent to an augmented set of gear. Yes, it's a lot of work, and it may require new tech, but it might be the only way to make sure there's no problems.
  4. Another nice thing for the PT Tank is Hydraulic Overrides. When the meta-game stabilizes after 2.0, we're going to see knockbacks and pulls used to split a tank from his guard target, just like in WAR. While HO is active, the PT is immune to this separation. In a weird way, it will become a defensive cooldown used to make sure the PT stays in Guard range.
  5. Seriously, try out Shield Tech. It takes awhile to get used to because you have to watch everything, enemies, allies and health bars at the same time. It's very rewarding to play though knowing you turned that 7k smash into 2.4k and completely saved your teammate from certain death.
  6. This. Had an insane Voidstar yesterday where almost no one died. Healing heavy on both sides. I was a PT tank. The enemy team had a Jugg tank. Both tanks had over 300k protection, which made the burst damage very easy to heal. Tanks are awesome in PvP when played right.
  7. Yeah, I really like the feel of the Shield Tech in PvP now. Managed 200k+ protection in a WZ without a healer on my team. I used to explode so fast trying that before 2.0.
  8. Looking over the skill tree changes, I dare say that this might actually work.
  9. Hmmm. Naked Ops drinking game. I think we have a new guild event!
  10. Then it seems the WH/EWH gear isn't interacting properly with the bolster. This is probably due to level 50 PvP gear having to sacrifice stats for expertise. The bolster is based on item rating, and the the level 50 PvP gear has low stats for its rating, so it would explain how someone naked would have more stats. Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to fix. Or maybe the fix just didn't make it into the build in time to be pushed live with the update.
  11. Well, we did asked for X rated servers. I mean, X server rateds. Close enough right?
  12. But you can buy planetary comms with warzone comms and gear up that way. I think that's what he meant.
  13. Ah, but everyone has the option to be naked, do they not?
  14. What you're seeing is damage dealt and taken with lack of proper coordination. In this game, Guard and taunts can drop a player's burst to 35% of normal damage. (70% of normal with the taunt which is split by Guard.) This means damage without those two things in play can be quite ridiculous. It's just like in Warhammer Online. In low man or pug situations, people die fast. In coordinated groups, engagements can last an extremely long time. Except there's no OP group healing in this game. The bolster is no question bugged. But this is what PvP looks like with everyone even. Proper use of guard, taunts, peels, and heals are mandatory to survive. Maybe it will get people to actually bring proper tanks into solo queue PvP. But I doubt it.
