An update: My access to the servers has been restored, the character I requested to move is still on the original server but I have still been charged the 1000 cartel coins so had to open a ticket to get them refunded... So people who have done character transfers you might have the same thing.

Can you answer my edit question please? Why was the transfer service left active when you knew there was an issue and I now cant play the game for an unknown amount of time till this is fixed?

Initiated a character transfer 3 hours ago, an error came up after it said it had started the transfer and said character transfer service was down. Current status is my character hasn't been transferred and im now locked out of all my other characters so basically can't play the game, phoned customer support and they said it was a known issue they are working on currently and to keep an eye on the Dev tracker but i cant see anything mentioned about it so thought I would warn others against doing any character transfers today if they are still allowing it to be done. Edit: Just found another thread in bug reports saying this has been happening since yesterday, why did they allow people to still do transfers when this was happening? I better be getting my sub time back as you left the transfers online after this was reported...

Hi all, We're looking for a progression guild as our current guild does not raid and it's the main thing about SWTOR we enjoy, our schedules can be a bit all over the place but we would mainly be looking to raid on Fridays and Saturdays, depending on times we could do other days as well. We have numerous level 55 characters between us including 2 Sorcerer healers, 2 Powertech Tanks, 2 Snipers, Operative healer, Marauder ETC and have been playing the game since launch. Not all fully geared out but we're working on them, happy to be thrown into a trial run to see how we do!

Hi, just wanted a clear answer on something. So if someone who probably isn't even active since months ago has taken the character names that I have had since early access and have over 43 days played I am the one who has to change? Should have done it like DC universe, person who had the most play time gets the name, job done, instead you have narked off an extremly active player while someone who more than likely hasn't played the game in months gets to keep the names.

Of course it was, some people have too much money due to early balancing issues and they now need to remove said money from these gillionaires to rebalance the entire server

I would assume you would get the +10 presence for all the companions even tho technically you've already maxed those specific companions on another character, I guess they still count as extra.

Will you still be able to get these titles if you do these things now on the PTS or was it just for the run up to 1.2?
