  1. Ok, well for adding more companions I meant...companions with story, which was why I was like 'Enough robots and space dogs'.
  2. No. Because like I said, most of your classic companions are just paperweights now, add on top of that all the ones new or returning players just straight up can't get because of time locks. I dunno how your 40 translates to the average player having 40.
  3. All companions feel pretty much the same, and basically unkillable, so bringing back their identity and a bit of strategy would be great.
  4. I got this game when it came out, with a CE Founders pack physical edition and all, but after about a year I ended up leaving, coming back for a few months now and then. But after college I ended up not really floating back around to this game for a while. Then I came back to find out I'm missing like...a half dozen companions? But at least Hexid is back in. I read someone say on this sub that they had mentioned wanting to bring back the other 'limited' companions. Considering in the KotET story most of my old crew is either missing, or just paper weights and not actually in the story (Except for HK and Treek oddly enough) I would really want to fill out the story roster with more characters sometime. EVEN IF you say no to all the ones out already, just give me something to pad out my woefully lacking roster now that most of my old crew is just a bunch of mannequins.
  5. I have an addiction to collecting, it's why I tend to go overboard with mobile games. The fact that I can't at least TRY and get some of these other companions is really making the inside of my head itch. To come back as a founder, after not playing for a long time because...well...there wasn't much to do, and find out there's like a half dozen ACTUAL companions I'm now MISSING and that my main crew has been reduced to mostly paperweights? That sucks. I would pay good money to unlock those other characters alongside my HK and Treek to try and fill up the empty roster of my crew in cutscenes.
  6. If they restore every other companion I hope they'll let us buy those other companions that some folks might have missed out on. I'd dump an expansions worth of cash to buy all the extra companion characters now that my old crew is basically just paperweights in my ship.
  7. I guess the most to hope for is the next expansion brings them back to life haha.
  8. That's kind of a bummer, currently I'm going through it with my male Trooper and it's disappointing that Elara is apparently still with the Republic, but there's like zero way to actually contact her in the story. Apparently that happens with a lot of the romances, though, which is a shame. I feel like those were a lot more memorable than every character in the game maybe shagging the same sith lady or pilot.
  9. So I've jumped back in after being gone for a long time, and all my crew is swept away. I wake up five years later, with a bunch of new random people, and mayyyybe I can get back my old crew through some events or alerts? (I'm still not 100% clear on it) If I do get them back, does it occur outside of the continuity? I mean my characters got married, I dunno if I'd have them jump into the sack with someone else knowing their SO is still around, but if I get them back and it's basically irrelevant story wise it kind of feels like it's a bit pointless. So if I recover my SO from alerts (since the list of characters recovered through the campaign appears slim) are they just another skin for my companion or is there at least a bit of dialogue and companion quests afterwards to go through?
  10. I right click on the turret, and my character sits outside of it. You can still see the turret in first person mode, and there are no targets anywhere on the map to shoot. This happens with multiple turrets, even after restarting the game and changing instances. I cannot complete this quest, or even progress past the first step.
  11. They obviously already have 'levels' of EXP gain, through double XP weekends, rested XP, buffs, subscribers, preferred, free to play, etc. I don't want all this EXP boosting. I want to enjoy the planet for as long as possible without needing self imposed handicaps to make it any kind of a real challenge. Has Bioware actually made an official statement on the idea of disabling all EXP boosts? (Since everyone complains about the idea of turning EXP off completely.) I would like the ability to turn off all the EXP boosts that are turned on by the game (Weekends, subscriber bonus EXP, and to a lesser extent, rested).
  12. I am totally behind the voice thing and would say I'd be willing to pay for an entire voice pack, or to a lesser extent, buy the voices on a class by class basis.
