The article could be misleading because he said hybrid specs. Your spec is specifically your talent points. What type of gear you're wearing at any given time has no bearing on what your spec is. So he probably wasn't considering 31/0/10 (or whatever) to be a hybrid spec when he gave his answer, since its clearly a full tank spec. People need to stop saying assassin hybrids are OP and instead say that assassin tanks in DPS gear are OP if that's what they're actually talking about. 21/2/18 is a hybrid spec. 31/0/10 is not.

Because the story is so driven by voice acting they don't want the main character to just growl or gargle the whole time (e.g. wookies or rodians). They also don't want to rerecord voice acting for a specific species with a specific vocal style (e.g. mon calamari). They also don't want to have playable races whose physical qualities prevent them from wearing normal armor in all the armor slots (e.g devaronians, togruta, etc.).

I rerolled on the fatman and hated it. Worst community ever, at least on empire side. Nothing but morons, imbeciles, and children. It was like server-wide barrens chat. I went on the fleet once and every single person at the GTN either had a really idiotic character name, a really idiotic guild name, or both. This coupled with the most inane general chat i've ever seen caused me to say "eff this ess" and I rerolled on Ajunta Pall and have been loving the game ever since. I'd rather quit the game than go back to fatman.

I have many problems with it. A. Force powers are not alignment neutral magic spells. Force lightning is using the force to directly cause pain, torment, and death to another person. This is clearly darkside. One should not be able use force lightning, force choke, and similar powers and still be light side. Its clearly shown in the movies and the EU that even acting aggressively or selfishly can bring a force sensitive to the darkside. So how could someone possibly be considered a light sider while still using force lightning to torture and kill people or using force choke to strangle someone to death? Ridiculous. B. Non- force sensitives should not be affected by force alignment at all. This is what I posted in another thread about the subject of dark side corruption. "Its really stupid. I think Niman is popular among sorcerer/consular types because Niman practitioners supplement combat moves with force powers more often than other styles. For example a common Niman technique is to use force pull to pull your opponent into the path of your lightsaber. Otherwise Makashi for Sith (since its designed for killing other lightsaber users, i.e. Jedi) and Ataru for Jedi (since it also uses force powers in conjunction with combat extensively). The Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow is a contrivance of this game. Within the context of the Star Wars universe itself there are really just Jedi/Sith who focus more on combat rather than force powers and Jedi/Sith who focus more on force powers rather than combat, and than many more who fall somewhere in between.

Massassi and Kissai are Sith. They're just castes that looked slightly different. Naga Sadow and Marka Ragnos were both Kissai. Its not a "use your imagination issue". Its like asking BioWare to make Correlians a playable race. They're already playable.

Raiden being immune to the force just because he isn't from the Star Wars universe is a cop-out.

Just make a sith pureblood and call yourself a kissai. just make a body type 3 sith pureblood and call yourself a massassi.

How exactly do you expect BioWare to compensate you?

You should be able to use the razer software to set up your own macros.
