  1. Perhaps they patched the new ones in with one of todays patches. If you find something new, post here please!
  2. Not sure what the whining is about - since the patch yesterday and the new orange weapon schematics, I've made about 2 million credits using nothing but tier 2 mats. As to the complaint about no preview window - most of what you make is going to be failed crits while trying to make augmented armor. Nobody will want those, they are vendor fodder. So equip one and show it to your purchaser.
  3. From one of the weekly FAQ's dedicated to post 1.2 - we are supposed to have new oranges discoverable through mission skills. This further indicates that they did not add them -- and to my knowledge, they were never found on the PTS either. "Because we do not want players to gamble with reverse engineering custom appearances (orange items) which are often unique quest rewards, the schematics for these items are obtained via mission discoveries for various gathering skills and are set to Bind on Equip to encourage active trading."
  4. As outlined in the one of the weekly FAQ's about patch 1.2 we read that: "Because we do not want players to gamble with reverse engineering custom appearances (orange items) which are often unique quest rewards, the schematics for these items are obtained via mission discoveries for various gathering skills and are set to Bind on Equip to encourage active trading." To the best of my knowledge, none of these new items were found on the PTS. And after a full day on live, I see no evidence to suggest they have been found here either. Has anyone discovered one of these new schematics through the means described above? If not, did Bioware forget to activate these?
  5. I do hope this applies to all crafted oranges, not just the battlemaster set. I expect that it does, as it would make sense.
  6. I brought this up many times while the PTS was active, and never received a response.
  7. You can get +5 crit to synthweaving by unlocking the ship vendor, and socketing an item purchased there into your ship droid. Due to affection also increasing crit, you'll want to max the ship droids affection through cultural artifacts ASAP as well. (At least, I think it was cultural artifacts he liked).
  8. With 1.2 only 2 days away, I wonder if we could please get some clarification on these questions. The endgame write-up today was excellent, I'd love to see something similar on the crafting changes that spell things out very clearly. There is a lot of confusion still surrounding both what the 1.2 crafting changes are and are not bringing us.
  9. Fact 107: John Williams can scare the %(* out of you with only 2 notes.
  10. The vendor's storefront has been reclaimed through Eminent Domain to be re-purposed for Guild Vaults.
  11. I'm pretty concerned that the crafting system we are getting isn't going to match what most of us have been thinking it's going to be. I'm also concerned with comments such as the one you just quoted, which if taken literally mean that Armormech will be getting some perks that Synthweaving does not. Ordinarily I would assume they mean armor crafting in general, but they have very specifically called out certain things that are coming to Armormech enough times that I think it doesn't apply to both. Probably time for Bioware to started doing damage control and pointing out what the new crafting ISN'T, not just vague statements on what it is, which are so open they leave too much room for individual interpretation.
  12. Huge thanks to the people who put so much effort into putting all this info together. I wish there was a nice list like this for armormech patterns.
  13. Unfortunatly, on all builds of the PTR including the one just today - crafted oranges cannot be RE'd at all. Looks like they are going to become vendor junk. Nobody will want them, and they cannot be RE'd to recover mats. Extremely poor design choice here, as the vast majority of items produced by crafting will be failed crit oranges.
  14. Still looking for answers to these questions, why have these not been addressed despite being asked so many times by so many different people?
  15. The underlying issue here is the statements they've released are vague and somewhat contradictory. Clarification is needed.
