  1. I agree with those that are saying the Kotor 3 ship has sailed and any future SW RPG will be based on a different story. I expect if they make one it will be tied to the upcoming movies. You don't even need to play the game, just watch the cutscenes. Here is a light side playthrough:
  2. Hold down the Shift key, press down left mouse button on stack and drag. You will get a prompt asking for the quantity to split off, enter value and left click the destination for those items.
  3. The original animation had the character lift a rock or chunk of metal out of the ground, based on the ground type. The object then hovered next to the Sage momentarily and is launched at the target. PvP players didn't like it since the damage was delayed for Project and on the Imp side Sorcs had an instant ability, Shock. I think most PvE players, myself included, enjoyed the delayed attack more because it was better animation and and more fun to watch the chunk of material get hurled at the target. I think the animation has only been changed once, from the delayed damage to instant. I also agree that Sorc lightning gets old and the variety that Sage's have is nicer. Although initially, it was a lot of fun throwing lighting everywhere, it became too much of a good thing and I started wishing I could throw some rocks for a change. Edit: Forgot to add my +1 to having the old animation and damage delay back.
  4. Nice poll, and I'm glad to see that devs are watching the results. However, I would like to add Guild Halls/Ships to the wish list. Additionally, although not content related, I would like Advanced Class Respec and Cross Faction Ops added as well.
  5. Really, a Dewback running at 90-110% movement speed? That will be a site to behold. I have to admit It's nice to see new mounts being added and not just re-skins of existing ones, so thank you to the dev team for the variety. Edit: Wow, just looked it up in Wookieepedia and apparently Dewbacks can sprint up to 50kph.
  6. Don't count on a joystick being better for this expansion. Looking at the videos, the controls seem to involve placing the cursor where you want the ship to go and your weapons to fire, ideally suited for mouse and keyboard. X-Wing and Tie Fighter had more conventional flight sim controls where each controller axis controlled one ship motion axis, where this seems to just indicate where you want the ship to fly and the ship assists the pilot to fly towards that point. It also appears that instead of fixed weapons, this game has articulating weapons that aim where you place the cursor.
  7. I don't know of a Trooper only guild on this server, however there is an active one on the Jung Ma server (East/RP-PVP) called Alpha Company. I believe there was an all Trooper guild here, or it might have been on Telos Restoration before the merger, but it dissolved. Edit: The guild I remember was called Havoc Squad(ron?) and I think they are no longer active, unfortunately.
  8. +1 Yes, thank you very much BioWare for addressing the excessive repair costs. By making this change, you allowed several of my guild-mates (subscribers) to continue to enjoy this game and saved my guild from disbanding. We have resumed operation progression runs and are again able to take under-geared/inexperienced players with us for comm/mats runs.
  9. Thank you for looking into it and for letting us know that you are. In addition to the increased repair cost for all players, please consider altering the formula to reduce/eliminate the higher repair costs for tank spec characters relative to the other specs.
  10. It appears to me that this is the result of the game economists over stepping in an attempt to remove credits from the economy. I'm confident that there are members of the development team that were against such a heavy-handed move, but it was decided to give it a try to measure the response of the gaming community. Since subscriptions are typically paid for months in advance, this thread and the others like it are critical to providing our feedback about the increased cost of repairs. Add me to the list of very unhappy subscribers who are imploring BioWare to significantly reduce the repair costs. This extravagant additional cost has temporarily suspended the raiding (ops running) by my guild (100% subscribers) and if kept in place will threaten the health of it. I am asking to keep in mind that there is a significant population of subscribers who do not have the time and/or desire to do anything other than run operations, occasional flash points and maybe level an alt. With the current level of repair costs, none of these activities generate enough credits to cover it. Unfortunately, these type of players are under represented on the forum and I hope that is taken into consideration when evaluating the feedback here. TL:DR Please reconsider the current level of repair costs and find another way to remove credits from the game, if that is the goal. Also, if the formula for calculating repair cost is adjusted, please reduce/eliminate the additional cost for tank spec players.
  11. Here are my choices: 1. Name change. 2. Appearance change. 3. Advanced class respec.
  12. +1 I dislike him so much I've got him at -1000 affection and just let him rot on the ship. Don't even send him out on missions or have him craft.
  13. I'm curious as well about this. It appears the pink area is about 3% and has not fluctuated, which leads me to believe that it represents an area that doesn't have an incentive to spend time in, like the player's personal ship. The grey area does fluctuate and is on a slow decline, so it would make sense if this represents space combat. However, space combat is part of dailies, so most likely is included there. Thank you for sharing one of your charts. I would love to see more of these. P.S. Home brewing is an great hobby , the results of which being fresh and delicious beer to enjoy while you make the next batch. "Relax, don't worry, have a home brew." - Charlie Papazian
  14. The Battle Assault Cannon is the shortest customizable cannon that I know of also, although it is a level 36 item. Below level 30, the cannons seem to be about the same size. Here are three of them that I like: Esseles Revolving Autocannon, Hammer Revolving Autocannon, and Searing Crusader. As Darius points out, the Searing Crusader sounds like a heavy machine gun. My current favorite for my level 27 commando is the Clan Varad Fusion-X Autocannon, as I have decided to just embrace the bigger is better theory.
