  1. But that's the thing - you will always have players with and without credits, but the current state of game economy is just for those with a humongous amount of credits and nobody else. You can't even buy crafting mats because they all go in packs for millions of credits. Few years back a few million could buy you a hypercrate, not 50 durasteel... And I guess you hit a nail in the head - the devs let the in-game economy crumble for a quick buck.
  2. Don't we have enough alternative forms of currency already? There are so much tokens and marks to gather - it's already a headache. All we need is more credit sinks. And not that terrible travel tax, but something people would like to spend willingly on. Open a casino, start a raffle, let the whales throw credits at a chance to win vanity stuff and I'll guarantee the game economy will thrive again.
  3. Please do, I loved his armor and would love to do some in-game cosplay with that! I fell out of the loop with all the cool armors after my break from the game, love seeing all the new ideas around 😊 I think you might have clicked the wrong thread then. 🙄
  4. 🤣I am grinding. I just spent 2 weeks worth of grind to buy a freaking hilt and a mod for my MH weapon. To be able to engage in anything after taking a break from the game. That's BS. Maybe in a year I will be able to decorate a room in my stronghold. Whoop, whoop! What player economy? You mean those people who can afford 100 hypercrates for $$$ and then resell them for credits? No, I'm one of the bottom scrapers who does dailies, helps newbies on starter planets, gathers jawa junk and does an occasional flashpoint in hopes to buy a piece of furniture for my SH. Maybe it's fine if you play this game for 10 years without pauses longer than a month, but new and returning players have nothing to really get into that economy. The prices ain't pretty if you play 1-2h a day. Take a look on another MMO, Black Desert, with set maximum and minimum prices for everything. It works. You don't have people buying in-game currency for real money and disrupting the game economy. You have to play, any way you like, and you'll get anything. Here? Not really, you need to work in a game. That's not what games are for.
  5. That's billionaire talk right there. 'Everyone can have money, but they choose not to because they are lazy.' 🙄 As it happens, it's a game. You know, something you play to have fun. It's not second work, I don't have to grind 8h/day to have a chance at fun because the devs chose to ignore problems with their product we already pay for. Oh, so only in-game rich people can have fun? And accidentally it comes at the cost of poorer in-game people? Funny how fiction mimics life.
  6. I don't disagree. Then again all these games are different than SWtOR. I got roughly the same amount of time both here and in Skyrim but I don't run my Dragonborn for the story but the open world shengenians. But more on topic. For me, personally, SWtoR is the perfect blend of multi and solo gameplay. I can have houndreds of hours fun in my Star Wars sandbox and then can blow up an enemy base with guildies. It's a MMO in a classic sense, checks all the boxes for the genre and I think it works for many people who, like me, hate the notion of going away from the "holy trinity". Ever played something like Black Desert? Where everyone is a DPS and it's boring because no actual group content can be made around that?
  7. I'm freshly after creating a new character, run them through 1 to 80, not skipping dialogue, doing just the main story, a couple of heroics and first 4 optional flashpoints. Racked up over 100h and I didn't do most of the content hidden behind side quests/heroics/dailies/flashpoints/operations etc. Give me a RPG these days that would give me 100h gameplay for 15$. Why would anyone do that indeed...
  8. I know I did. Got a few days left and I think that's it for me. They managed to destroy the last thing keeping me here, really. My guildies gave up gaming a long time ago and I was here waiting for my two favorites to return. I was so hyped to get them both at the same time and...well, it turned out as it did, I already said how disappointed I am and I guess there are no hopes of this being fixed. At the same time I noticed they changed the beginning scenes for each class and I am sitting here wodering...who the hell thought that adding additional lines for NPCs we never get to see after the intruduction is more important than making our reunions with original comapnions make SENSE?
  9. Wait, what? We originally pulled such a stunt to get Quinn into Broysc's ship and it was cut? Can you imagine the glare he must have sent Pierce's way after he punched him? Priceless
  10. Just watched it but couldn't make it to the end of the conversation. Jeez, his voice will haunt me Guy is prepared to defect for the SW and then this happens...heartless
  11. The saddest part is that I am doing this for so long I'm so sick of it, especially that I had to literally make up my own story throughout KotFE and KotET because nothing made sense there for 7 out of 8 main characters I have... And now I have to embarce insanity once more and pretend to see what was not there again.
  12. Agreed, that was the nicest thing that came out with 5.2 for sure!
  13. I get a feeling this is exactly how things are behind the scenes...how dare some poeple not like the new cast, outrage! Perhaps it was silly of me to think that the most hated romancable companion and the other one everyone seemed to forget about will get some much needed spotlight, just for the sake of fanservice if nothing else. I'm just sad, so very, very sad
  14. I hope so. I mean, I was so hopeful, every romancable companion so far was brought is a decent manner. Torian got a bit of a shaft but at least we still got to DO something story-centered with him. And what the hell happened here? "Quinn!" 'Not now my lord" "Oh, ok..." We go do the 15min content of the story (ok, it was nice, it was also nice to see Theron got a bit of more attention then Lana this time too!), return in hopes to get the usual one-on-one but it turns out to be a 1min monologue ended with a kiss and...that's it? End of story? And I can't even replay it ffs...
  15. I need to vent so bear with me please. Both me and my significant other are so...depressed right now Two of our favorite companions returned in a non-chapter kind fo way (so no replaying...), got next to nothing in terms of story and we wonder how exactly is this bringing them back in a meaningful way? I swear, Bronnmark had more going on in his rectruitment mission than Quinn and Dorne combined, I'm completely disheartened on both the content we got and the return of a character I waited for so freaking long for
