Are you referring to Resolve? If so, you get a bar above your head and each time a CC (crowd control) is used on you it goes up. Once it fills the bar will turn white and CC cannot be used again. However, this doesn't include things such as slow, just spells that stun you.

This is a very annoying quest. Anyone know a trick to get it completed?
