  1. Pretty much what I thought about the red eyes when I started this thread. The red eyes are cool in their own right, but they just aren't canon. Kinda immersion breaking when you get them at Dark 4 imo.
  2. Not a very good idea. Hutball would be broken entirely by teams consisting of nothing but sages flash-stepping around every other class. Someones been playing an Evie a tad bit too much in Vindictus I suspect. Not every "mage" class in every mmo needs a teleport ability. It works there, but it probably wouldn't mesh well here.
  3. Good idea and I think they may be already working on something like that, but let's not go too far off topic.
  4. +1 /signed. Pretty obvious. Can't believe this isn't in the game already.
  5. I think you might be able to make a Sith Pure Blood with eyes like these, not sure though. But the Zabrak version isn't nearly as cool as Darth Malgus's version.
  6. Yeah both their eyes are freaking epic! They'd be perfect, but I like the progression mechanic Dark Side corruption currently has, we get eyes that signify our evil at Dark 1, but at 4 we get eyes that signify we are completely corrupted by the Dark Side. Mabey the pure yellow eyes currently in the game will suffice until we reach Dark 4, then we get the classic Sith eyes. Also, I think every once in a while they go through the Suggestion Box and read a few threads for good ideas, so here's hoping they see this one! And thanks for the Twitter support! The more people who show support, the more likely they'll put this in the game!
  7. If you aren't having fun playing a class, chalk it up as a loss and re-roll. Not every player will be great at EVERY class they play, and the playstyle for certain classes just doesn't fit with every person who plays it. You might have a hard time with this class but be a natural as another. ToR is a game, you're supposed to have fun playing it! If you've gotten to level 35 and you still aren't having fun or hit your stride with the class, just re-roll.
  8. Think I'll bump this thread, I think this idea has potential and really hope a dev stumbles upon this thread.
  9. And does the Cartel hood/helmet combo work outside the Test Server yet?
  10. Also, mabey it can be an optional feature. Under the appearance tab, we get a checkbox that says "Enable Classic Sith Eyes Yes/No", that way people already happy with the red eyes can still have them, but if they want to try out the classic eyes, they can. Another win-win imo.
  11. On a related note, anyone with a character on the Test Server have screenshots of hood/helmet combos that work? Is it only sets that work now or will a helmet from one set work with a robe from another set?
  12. The f2pers already have a lot of restrictions, what's one missing cosmetic feature going to hurt? Especially if they can pay a little price and buy them. Us subscribers just get them for free. Consider it BW saying "thank you" for all the support us paying customers have been giving them for so long.
  13. Yeah, it sucks that it got adressed because it effected a Cartel item, but on the bright side, at least it finally got adressed! Hopefully that fix will make it over to the public servers soon...
  14. Yeah, it would be a tad bit insulting for them to make us pay for something that pretty much should of been there from the start, but with f2p around the corner, you know BW is expecting a lot of needed income to come from microtransactions...hmmmm... How about this; every player with an active subscription gets these eyes for free when they get put in game, but f2p players just get the red eyes at Dark 4, if they want the Classic eyes, then they have to buy them from the Cartel. That way the players who already had subs get these eyes for free, but if the f2pers want them they have to spend some cash, giving BW some needed income. That way, everyone wins!
  15. Deception: Burst Damage. You'll kill enemies faster than you would as a Tank spec. But their survivability is much lower than Tankasins, due to Surging Charge (the charge you should usually have activated) not boosting your armor rating. If you stealth up and get the drop on most classes (aside from tanks) you can usually kill them before they know what hit them. Due to the fact that most battles in ToR are short skirmishes as opposed to long battles of attrition, speccing burst-dps would put you at a slight advantage, once you are in end-game gear. Darkness: Survivability. You'll do more damage overall compared to a Deceptasin, simply because your alive longer to do more damage. But you'll find yourself fighting the same person for a longer time than you would as a deception spec because the burst dps isn't as high, but the upside is, you can take pretty much any class in the game 1 vs. 1 including Tanks, since Tankasins do noticeably higher dps than other Tank classes. They aren't worse or better than eachother, just different. Depends on your playstyle. If you are having fun as a Deceptasin there's no real reason to switch specs, as you're just as viable in PvP as a Tankasin. If your good at either spec you will often find yourself at anywhere from 3rd to 1st place in damage. None of our specs can consistantly outdamage Marauders if said Mara is doing his job right, but both specs can give them a run for their money, as good Deceptasins can out burst Maras and Tankasins can survive a lot longer than them.
