  1. You know its funny I felt the same way about my job. Maybe its time you put the game aside and go find something pleasant. Like Dark souls ... you masochist.
  2. Also dont think that just because you fired your laser in a split second within their reticule that it will hit, make sure your reticule locks onto the their circle then fire, you'll hit much more
  3. Yes, this is a domination based warzone and as such objectives are how you win. Do not downplay kills however. This isnt like alderaan where if you do 1 point of damage to the enemy they stop capping. You have to eliminate enemies around the point in order to stop the cap. Easiest way to do this is to kill enemies as fast as possible, preferably before they reach the point. If they're rushing a point defended by 3 turrets they still cant cap the point until the turrets go down. Even if they go after you you can make them tunnel vision and have them chase you away from the point. The only time I see massive dogfights are either in A on the makeb map or B in the space map, but thats mostly due to the open spaces
  4. Personally I love the new game type, it gives players a new way to play the game. Although I wasn't in beta I would say I've caught onto the game pretty quickly (and yes, I watched one l2p video) I see a couple players struggling and thought I would throw some small tips out that really helped me out once I started learning. 1. When trying to hit targets with your lasers, you have to target that ship and aim for the little circle leading their craft. Now at first that seemed obvious, but it seems you actually have to let your cursor 'lock on' to that cirlce before your lasers start doing the damage consistently. You will see a few lines on the blue cursor lock in on the target. I went my first couple of flights thinking I didnt need to lock on my blasters. So take the time to line up the shot and you'll save energy and do more damage/get more kills. DONT JUST SPAM YOUR BLASTERS or youll be out of power with nothing to show for it. 2. F1-3 are your best friends, don't forget them. No seriously. Don't forget them. The minute you get into combat get used to swapping power to your weapons, or shields if need be. (F1 weapons, F2 shields) There is nothing worse then letting that fighter live because you didnt have enough enough power to your blasters to finish him off. 3. Remember the 5 D's of dodgeball. Duck, dodge, dip, dive, and... dodge. When being chased by an enemy fighter do everything in your power to get away. Using that rafter or asteroidto break an enemy missle lock saves a skill cooldown. Remember that when you slow down you turn faster. Get your opponent to fly like an enemy TIE fighter, and crash straight into the nearest overhang. Just remember to convert power to your engines or shields! Cause I know you just forgot. If we could get one of the beta veterans to write up a good guide that would be great, until then I hope I could help out at least a few people. Character name is Thugg'nificent, Rep side on the Bastion, look forward to flying with you guys.
