  1. I think only new characters that are exclusively gay can be gay. Having a character that could be gay means they are bisxeual if they can be romanced as a hetero from a different gender, Also from a perspective of a hetero story knowing that a companion could be gay means that any conversation with a companion would be assumed to be gay if it is friendly. Say something nice to a companion that could be gay, maybe that is flirting. So by making non-sexual companion into gay companions from a hetero players perspective makes any interaction possibly gay. It actually messes with a persons head. If this is meant to be a kids game, then that would be quite the mind ****. And even being mean, could be seen as something sexual and masochist or sadistic. Something similar to the story Kaliyo. So for the already existing companions it should not be included imo, or bump up the rating of the game. Which I am all for. Its an MMO, and imo, is not meant for kids. They have addictive personalities, and MMOs allow for that personality to take form. And so, imo, only have exclusively SGRA if they are to be implemented for certain new characters.
  2. You must study makeb to understand. Makeb backwards ---- Bekam - swtor devs like football. Rearrange Makeb - M A K E B ---- Bakem - Swtor likes baked goods Kebam - sounds like explosion Kabem - sounds lke explosion Ambek - sounds like I am back Abkem- Ab cam- camera for the abs- I think this has deep meaning. Akbem- A gay beam - rainbows in Makeb Akmeb- A gay meb- maybe - chance of everything being gay is... maybe Mabek- sounds like- my back- a new foundation for swtor Rearrange the possible meanings to string your own sentence.
  3. Out of wow clones, its the best out there or 2nd best out there.
  4. So you think same gender romance is important to bring in more players to swtor, and keep populations alive? And while there is other content that was discussed just as long as the SGRA thread with ideas relating to open world pvp, mini games, and other social feautures... SGRA will most likely attract more girl game players. And that is not necessarily a bad thing if it makes the game sucessful, but also means the development of swtor would be geared more towards casual girl gamers as a core feauture and having raids as the standard end game. What swtor interperts as the standard girl video gamer is still obscure, but by looking at current trends, its more vanity items and gear grinds for mom's multi tasking PVE while on the phone with grandma. I am assuming the kids are at school.
  5. So the problem is popluation? Start making more babies and turn them into SW addicts. In a couple of years you will have some credit farmers playing with you. This game does not even have open world pvp to need a large population. And credits would be tougher to come by on a small pop. server... but again you do not need credits. So join a good guild on your server, and take turns to complete content. Or maybe the guild has enough space to allow everyone complete content as fast they want. So maybe character transfers can help, but you could also re-roll. Consider the large investment BW put into the servers in that area, and the people are already asking for a way to reduce the interest in that area by allowing for character tranfers when you could roll on alt on another server, and return to your actual regions server when things are up an running. If the population is too small then allowing for character transfers might make BW consider closing those servers all together if they dont cover the costs. 1. So try to get more people to pay. Friends/family etc 2. Ask for content that you think would bring in more players to swtor in your area servers and in the game in general.
  6. I have a solution that BW is probably considering... Put some worthwhile stuff in the CE store, and also allow people to upgrade their accounts to CE status.
  7. Well... I havent heard anything about a council member killing malfunctioning war driods... So get to it, and be a good dark council member.
  8. The only problem with p2w if it does exist in swtor is that it would be temporary. For example; buying the best pvp gear would only be seasonal for one patch until the next one. So what is it worth to 'pay to win' for only 2 months? In a way the method of getting pvp gear and having to redo it every 2 months with having alts actually encourages a p2w system if it were priced right. And without a p2w system you have several alts not able to compete in pvp, and doing a long gear grind for top gear which will get reset in 2 months. So without the p2w its not fun and too much gear grind. And even with p2w its only time limited until the next patch.
  9. He should apologize on the threads of the first page for a month for mixing it up. Its a simple piece of knowledge and because of him there is a lie and incorrect knowledge floating on the internet. OP should be charged for internet pollution.
  10. Thank you for telling me how to enjoy my time. Which apparently is waiting in an open area using my abilities on rotation. Sure I can imagine great things as to why I am there if was RPing, but if I had such motivation to RP to such a high degree, then why would I bother with a video game that has its own natural restrictions and just play D&D instead? I think the point is open world pvp is important, and pvp is not simply standing in an open area without any reward other than duels. Also the environment is quite simple as well, so its not that great to other contested areas which could offfer a better option for an RP organized event of a duel competition. And those competition when organized are more rewarding than the time and effort it took for them to make Outlaws den. And Outlaws Den kinda flopped on what it was meant to be. It was meant to attract 'crafters' and pvpers, and multi tasking rewards while pvping. However, credits is not important in the game unless a player wants vanity items or is in a bad guild that fails OPs runs repeatedly. So pvping in an open area is not really fun if there is no objective, and also if the credits earned from crafting/gathering resources are also not important. This game depends too much on RP, rather than creating the system to allow for certain mechanics. For example, custom gear is considered a social activity in swtor. So apparently there is a lot of social activity in swtor because there is actually a decent amount of custom gear. And I personally dont agree with that, since RPing custom gear as a social activity in a cantina that only has a duke box as a feature is a lacking social activity. Well, good luck convincing people that they should enjoy Outlaws den as some stepping stone to initiate themselves to pvp. When in fact, it might make people hate pvp all together by sending them there for pointless ppvp. Maybe that is your clever plan... and I am not sure if that is just cruel to 'treat' someone to Outlaws den as open world pvp and tell them that is some kind of standard of what open world pvp is. Basically tricking them into having a twisted perception of pvp by making them experience something not up to par.
  11. I think we should be taking a cue from Illum as an Open world pvp style for swtor. I am only guessing. So if people like that, then that is good. I am going to wait before criticizing Makeb world pvp... but lets just say I have been spoilt before with open world pvp, and my expectations are based on the best of experiences relating to that. And I don't think 'adjusting' my expectations should be necessary, but I can be 'reasonable' but still looking at many aspects of the game forming an opinion reflects on that as well... making me somewhat critical in that sense. For example questing is too segrated. WZs are too dependent on gear grind. And there is a lack of solo rank for pvp. No duel arenas, and no tournament systems. I am not asking BW to give us rewards for winning pvp as in money, but at least set it up so its more rewarding. Even allow for bounty systems. The lack of these features impacts my overall enthusiasm in the open world making me more critical by its lack of implementation since its meant to carry the pvp aspect of the game when the other features are lacking or not even implemented. I think that is fair and makes sense to expect from a pvper.
  12. I think the first thing you need to do is actually research about computers. I say this as something important for you to do for yourself. If you are a computer user, you need to know some basic mechanics of the PC. It makes repairing you PC more efficient, and sometimes the difference by making it a reality as well. Imagine it as a human being getting sick. If a human were a kid, then thier perception of sick is simply not feeling well, but they would not know the cause. However, as they get older they can learn what a certain feeling means, what is the cause and most importantly how to avoid it. So the analogy is not meant to be rude, but to show that a child taking themselves can risk more than necessary damage because they don't know how to take care of themselves... where as an adult, knows and reduces the damage. So read up on PCs because 1. It makes the conversation make sense. If people are talking about RAM the conversation would be more applicable and the results more material. How about drivers, and updating? These are important things you need to know, or at least have someone take care of it for you. And the problem with your lap top is most likely the actual hardware not being strong enough. People are talking about adjusting the settings, but I doubt that would make a difference. Loading can be improved with an SSD hard drive, and more ram also helps. However there is another technical term called bottle necking. If you buy any part that is stronger than another part in you PC/lap top then the PC will be limited by the weakest component. And bottle necking usually occurs when the processor is too weak, but the concept applies when things like RAM are not sufficient as well.
  13. If there are no dailies, then what would be the substitute? Thats kinda the problem. They are not developing something to replace the daily anf FP/OPs gear advancement, so the dailies is an important part of that. Or an important way to make money and get other rewards as well. Would be nice if there were more alternatives though.
  14. We should all get together and jump on one side of Makeb to throw it off orbit, and force swtor devs to put another planet instead. Tell me when... I am already there... jumping.
  15. Rats can be nice in a cartoon kind of way.
