hey all this is souledge on the red eclipse server just putting forward my social guild that i help to manage we are relaxed and like to have a laugh, we do raids most nights though we are far from hardcore we like to try all the ops. and wish to expand our community so if u fancy a laugh or just wanna have fun give any player from the starfall guild a whisper and we will try to bring you in guild as soon as possible. hope to see you all in game

hi all thanks for the replys to answer your questions first off no he was saying that a full defence set should be run on all fights when we last spoke he believed that running only 400-500 max in to absorb and the rest into defence aiming for as close 2 40% in defence rating. in his opinion absorb for guardians was next to useless. to be honest i tank a lot in game and whilst i have attempted to test this i wanted a more wider demograf cause i like to prove to myself if i am right or wrong since our initial discussion i have tried very hard to support his theories so in which i can then present to him if he is right or wrong the problem is i have found only old threads from back before 2.0 thanks for any future replies

hey all i often come to the tank forums to look at posts made by theory crafters such as kbn so i wish to ask a question because it has been pinging around the guild i help run The starfall on red eclipse. I Have been a guardian tank from early access so i have had the opportunity to be there at the start of alot of op's runs but the question that has popped up in our guide is a discussion between me and another guardian tank, the other guardian tank has been arguing with me that i should be running a full defence spec in pve content with a small amount of absorb however i have been following kbn's theories and have been using a more average rating as my guild is formally a social guild and we don't do heavy into nightmare content. the question i propose to you all are high defence rating guardian tanks viable in hard and nightmare content or do you all agree with me, in that i believe that they haven't been so since 1.3 thanks in advance for the replys
