  1. I've been holding on to these, across my toons, ever since they first came out. For awhile I'd just sell them in bulk to the vendor for creds. Then, when I couldn't do that, I considered just deleting them all as junk, but it would have taken too long (it will still take too long). I hope they allow us to vendor these for 0 credits...or somehow bulk delete them I still have hundreds of these things...if not a thousand between my toons.
  2. At a higher level, Doctor O doesn't ask to experiment on your brain anymore during his little brief intro dialogue. So yes....some stuff has been removed. As for what's gated behind Dark/Light choices, yes, you have to get to a certain level to unlock them on the starter planet. If you finish the quest too soon, you may not get some of them. Agent has one in particular....dark side gets one statement from Keeper when he reviews your time on Hutta. "Neutral" gets a different statement during that conversation, and light side gets a 3rd response.
  3. Small point of contention. SWG, from start to finish, was 8.5 years. CU, and then NGE, did DRAMATICALLY reduce the number of active players / accounts. NGE was a complete and total mess for the first 2-6 months. I spent the majority of that time up in JTL (actual REAL space sim content) 4-5 years before the end of the game they did finally settle on what would turn out to be the best version of the game as far as content / playability. However, too many of the original subscribers were still complaining ALL OVER THE PLACE and it didn't really get a fair shake in my opinion. I was there for all of it.
  4. I've found it annoying, but not to the level of the OP. Wow.
  5. They won't do any conversions that allow for current stockpiles of anything to give people a day 1 advantage to crafting 6.0 items. Musco said as much with a recent post.
  6. I've only recently (the last month or so) started inviting people to my imp guild on SF. I've never done the "random invite" as much as I've been tempted to. I've always hated getting them, so I don't do it. I tend to spit out my "recruitment spam" when I land on a planet to do heroics. If someone contacts me via whisper, or I see it in chat, I'll invite them - as long as they understand they're joining a guild of solo players and not to expect actual grouping with guild members...or even really guild chat. Also, and this is a personal preference, if someone has an ascii special character in their name, I get annoyed. That means I have to hope that the /reply > copy/paste trick that I was told about actually works (it doesn't always for me) or I have to look up the code. I used to be a little more strict, make them meet me in person so I could invite them that way.
  7. There isn't, as far as I can see, any issue with the idea of that. The OP is not posting for that, just that the game is "unplayable" without it...
  8. I'm not terribly clear on what you're trying to ask, but I'll take a stab at it: Auto completing the story isn't automatic when you reach level 70. You have to choose to start one of the expansion stories. As for which decisions are made during the original 3 story chapters, I'm not sure. When you skip them, you don't get any of the titles for the content you skipped over. I would presume that also goes for codex entries. I've done it on enough toons where I do know that your LS/DS points stay the same.
  9. That's also old (players are level 60 and the mobs are 55) and I'm going to guess and say couldn't be done currently.
  10. This is probably the only reason I understand ANY "level too fast" argument.
  11. Well, there is a survey you can take whenever you want. When you cancel your sub they give you a questionnaire as to WHY??? Fill out what you want, submit it, and resub when you want. They still get the survey.
  12. Mulzz... I don't agree with anything you said at all. So much to the point that I didn't even know these White Acute Modules existed. After playing this game at the start, and every since, I'm very happy with how they have made leveling less stressful. You can unlock a mount at level 1 now if you want. Otherwise you get it at level 10. You used to have to walk until level 25. You can have any companion play any of the three roles. You used to have to use specific ones depending on what you wanted them to do. In some classes, you didn't get a healer until your last companion. You had to gear your companions. Now it doesn't matter, the only thing they NEED is to have any weapon equipped in order to function properly. So while there are a few things that some people might consider..."lesser" that I could see their point of view... Leveling faster just isn't one of those things for me. ....cookie cutter companions....that's an argument I could get behind.
  13. I played SWG from start to finish. There were a few things that you needed other players for, but only in the first few months did that NEED to be someone actually ATK. You could heal battle fatigue from afk musicians/dancers running macros. You could heal black bars via afk medics. You NEEDED a Mayor, or someone on a player city's militia to give you zoning rights, but after that, you didn't need to talk to anyone to live in a player city. SOME of the mobs were rough and needed a large group. Then the armor/weapons got better and the groups got smaller. You did need crafters, and miners, but you could get what they sold via vendors. Other people made SWG more fun, but you didn't NEED interaction with them for the majority of the game. Kind of like this game.
  14. Not sure how you would calculate things in this case since you took over the guild when the last GM quit. Since guild ships are really cheap now (8 million credits) there's very little interest in spending more than that for an existing guild. The forums used to have "guild for sale" posts all the time, I rarely see them anymore. Since this one has a guild stronghold also, maybe you could get some extra credits for that too...maybe. Honestly, I'd kick everyone else out(you said they're inactive), make it a private guild and just use it for yourself. Eventually, if you want, start inviting fresh people into it.
