  1. We haven't posted in a while, but in time for Christmas Jawa Squad on Tulak Hord finally managed to beat the Timed Run. We killed Apex a week before. We forgot proper Screenshots, but I guess videos and Timestamps should suffice.   2. Hey Jara Thanks for the Update. Quick question: You got any tips on where to farm Apex Predator properly? Or is a eight soldier Dxun HC still the way to go?
  3. Another change I would love to see is Fusion Missile / Plasma Greande granting a stack of Super Charge. It annoys me having to use Power Shot / Charged Bolts as a damaging ability if I want to build stacks. The dot spec should get the adition. Running full Periodic Intensity I try to include FM/PG as much as I can. I personally run the following: While I have Vent Heat / Thermal Sensor Override up: Incendiary Missile > Serrated Shot > Fusion Missile > Unload > Filler > Thermal Detonator > Mag Shot > Power Shot > Mag Shot > Repeat While I dont have Vent Heat / Thermal Sensor Override up: Incendiary Missile > Serrated Shot > Fusion Missile > Rapid Shots > Unload > Rapid Shots > Thermal Detonator > Mag Shot > Power Shot > Mag Shot > Repeat I get that the proc on Mag Shot is annoying. I think your change could help, but I don't mind running a spec that is not as brain dead and you have to get used to. Changes I would enjoy is that if the internal proc cooldown would adjust to the increase in alacrity.. so the procs dont get f'd up.

I'll chime in with my two cents on the state of nim raiding in general and specifically on Tulak Hord: In my opinion the state on nim raiding at the moment having lost the veterans edge stacks in all operations, including gods, is a good decision. It makes the content challenging again. Especially the older content. What a lot of people don't realize, is that SWTOR generally was a lot harder when it was released back in 2011. Every aspect, not only raiding. The game got dumbed down so that more people would find their way to the game. Nowadays most people ding 75 and dont even realize how they play their classes. Sadly I think a lot of people think the same about raiding at any kind of level. They dont think it necessary to put the time into clearing the content, because they never had to! Comparing it to an example, on Tulak Hord, our Raid Group on Pub Side has been working on clearing Nahut NIM for almost two months now! It is a hard boss to learn and to clear the first time. But we all have a good understanding of the classes we play, we played strategies that worked for our group and put the time in. Last Saturday we got our first kill. Knowing the fight now it is alot easier to handle. Like with all other nim ops. In my opinion the ops are properly tuned for what they are suppose to be: Nightmare Ops.   5. Kann dich gerne aufklären Vorher hieß die Gilde Republikanische Garde. Wegen diverser Gründe sind wir dann als eigenständige Raidgruppe in die Gilde TBJT aufgenommen worden, richtig. Die Homepage und jegliche Einträge repräsentiert seitdem auch nur noch die Raidgruppe und dient hauptsächlich als Raidplaner sowie kurze Übersicht unserer Erfolge. Das ist logischerweise unabhängig welche Gildezugehörigkeit wir haben. Ich gebe dir ebenfalls recht, dass ich bewusst die Gildentags aus meinen Screenshots raus lasse. Aber sicherlich nicht um etwas zu verstecken sondern rein aus ästhetischen Gründen. Derselbe Grund weshalb keiner einen Titel hat, Guild Heraldry sowie Lebensbalken ausgeblendet werden. Und was die Gilde von uns hat? Was wir von der Gilde haben? Eigentlich ganz einfach.. es gibt mehr Content als nur NIM Raids und dann ist es nice wenn mehr als nur 2-3 Menschen online sind. In unseren Videos wurde der Gildenname schon angepasst. Das könnte ich demnächst auch für die Website übernehmen wenn es für weniger Verwirrung sorgt. Wenn du noch Fragen hast, gern per PM.   6. *bump* Die Raidgruppe sucht weiterhin aktive Spieler zur Ergänzung der Raidgruppe. Zuletzt haben wir Esne & Aivela im NIM besiegt und arbeiten nun an Nahut.
  7. I agree to some statements here that the spec doesnt need that much.. One thing I'd love to see: - Explosive Dart / Sticky Grenade and Fusion Missile / Plasma Grenade can build a stack of Supercharge (Maybe with a internal cooldown?) This makes both abilities more viable in normal rotations and not only for dot spreading. I think the spec is a good example of easy to learn, hard to master.. mostly because of the ammo / heat management. Especially when you start adding dot spreads and aoe damage. In general I'd like to see other things build on that idea. For example: - Gaining the tenth and last stack of Supercharge through Koltoshot / Koltodart buffs the Supercharge duration to some amount (3-5 Seconds maybe?) - Spreading both dots to more then three enemies grants [Creative Name Here] which reduces the cost of the channeled Aoe attacks by 20% or some amount. - After the activation of Kolto Overload / Adrenalin Rush but before the health trigger.. the players can cast Medical Probe on itself which creates a stack of [Creative Name Here] which increases the duration of Overload/Rush for like 1 Second per Stack (Up to x Stacks] Mechanics that reward players for oversight of the fight/class and clutch gameplay. But also not necessarily being something you need to do. Like the first example you loose a gdc to a non-offensive ability, but profit after. Or the thrid exampe using your Overload/Rush preemtively.
  8. Hia Jara Nice work, I really like the format of the guide. One thing I'll add that might be interesting for new players: Maybe you should explain how you reach 735 Accuracy on AS. Most players will just level up their gear normally and land on 746 Accuracy and might be thinking there doing something wrong. Like add a quick breakdown of Enhancements, Augments, Crystals and in what amount. On another topic: What do you think about the current top parse for Assault Specialist at 11.6+ KDPS? In my opinion its almost not possible to reach those numbers without any form of guild perk. Keep up with the good content Dave
  9. Hallo zusammen Unsere Raidgruppe sucht für den aktuellen NIM Content Verstärkung. Aktuell läuft die Gruppe aktiv auf Rep-Seite und ist mit acht Leuten besetzt. Allgemein würden wir gerne mehr aktive Personen in der Aufstellung haben damit wir durch rotieren können und ggfs. auch einer mal ausfallen kann. Zur Zeit läuft die Gruppe den aktuellen NIM Content mit 'Götter der Maschine' Raidtage sind hauptsächlich Dienstags von 20:00 - 23:00 und Sonntags von 19:00 - 22:00. Geplant ist ein dritter Tag am Donnerstag, ebenfalls 20:00 - 23:00. Es muss keine bestimmte Klasse + Rolle sein. NIM Erfahrung ist wünschenswert aber nicht zwinged notwendig. Klassenkenntniss ist wichtig. In-Game gerne anschreiben: Mastersgt Dave oder Capt Dave

  12. 4k Flyby damage per tick? With full T3 Gear and Adrenals maybe. Certainly not for someone, like Taugrim, who is going to pop 50. I will agree that if you like your AoE's Sab/Eng are very good trees to skill. Extra Damage reduction.. yeah thats nice .. but a Slinger is mainly a DPS/Burst Class. A slinger is at its best in pvp when he is bursting down important classes like healers. Sure the AoE is nice.. but most players will avoide the big blue circles anyway .. and then you will have a problem killing people. For PvE Sab/Eng is super .. Id never use it in PvP. The other trees are just way better suited. Again, my opinion

  14. Hia, i have been a slinger ever since swtor started in december. At first I started experimenting with the skill calculator at low level. Just like Taugrim did. In the end, most of wich I had built, ended up beeing total crap. Easy enough because I lacked experience with the class. Same applies here I can imagine. I agree with almost everthing that NoTomorrow has said. Im going to add that you should spend points on Percussive Shot and not on Trip Shot. Those three seconds in Trip Shot do not matter at all, IF you dont spam Leg Shot! Choose your Targets wisely, who your going to snare. Like Hutball ball carriers for example. You should not spam the skill on people trying to run away from you. A GUNSLINGER IS NOT A CLASS THAT CHASES THEIR ENEMIES! Especially in PvP you will have a Problem against Melee classes (in 1.2 the marauders/sents) if you cant get them off you. You have one kick + root but that is not enough in most cases. Having the second kick makes things much easier. Burst Volley you should really try out. Yeah, its a proc skill, and most people dont like them, but Burst Volley has been really helpfull for me. It says 15% Proc chance but it feels like 40%. It procs alot. And with the combined energy regen and alacrity increase.. you can burst out alot of damage in very little time. Saboteurs Utility Belt, not my cup of tee .. you loose to much energy when spamming your grenade. Although it is handy for the cooldown on the flash. I wouldnt spend 2 points here. Rapid Fire, is for all those dps lovers out there. Since Speed Shot has the highest dps on the slinger, using it three times in a row .. well you know what im getting at. Very good for keeping your energy at bay, good for long fights .. like against tanks. Ive skilled it, because I totally think its worth the 1 point. And for those who do PvE, its mandatory. Otherwise your going to have energy problems in a long boss fight. Or just to little dps. And I totally agree with NoTomorrow that a hybrid specced slinger is just plain crap. i would get rid of the shock charge. sure the 30% slow is handy.. but marauders will jump at you, sabs and assassins will stealth sneak at you, the rest will stun you or just range dps you. GUNSLINGERS ARE DPS CLASSES. you should skill accordingly. pump burst / dps not slows. you want to burst your enemies down? go sharpshooter: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700bsrbdRsRGoZbcZh.1 you want to to high dps, bring down the bigger enemies (but lack in quick 1on1s) go dirty fighting: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700bZbcZGbbkrMGdhR.1 the points that are left, well these are debatable .. my oppinion.

    Mit neuen Features in 1.3 wird die Bevölkerung logischerweise erstmal steigen. Jedoch genau wie bei 1.2 gibt es dann warscheinlich kein guten Grund, dass dann ein bis zwei Monate lang zu spielen. Ohne Realmpools bei BG's oder zusammenlegen der Server sehe ich echte Probleme für BW und SWTOR was die Spieleranzahl angeht. Steht das Turnier am Sonntag eigentlich noch? (War das diesen Sonntag geplant?)
